Nike Zoom Skyposite Yi Jianlian PE Detailed Images

The Nike Zoom Skyposite is the latest pair of basketball kicks to utilize the foam Posite material, and we’ve seen some Player Exclusives drop for some Nike ballers like the Amare Stoudemire PE and Nate Robinson PE. To this list, we can now add Yi Jianlian of the New Jersey Nets. Sneaker News reported an upcoming PE for Yi, but changes have been made. The white midsole fades to a midnight navy, and the colourway is finished off with a red trim and Yi’s logo on the tongue. Although Yi’s been missing in action due to injury, these Yi Jianlian Nike Skyposite PE are definitely ready for action. Let’s hope Yi gets healthy so we can see these on the court, or you can grab your own PEs from rmkstore.

Air Jordan LStyle One Neutral Grey Metallic Silver

We’ve previewed some Air Jordan colourways that were part of the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary Collection. Here’s a look at the Air Jordan L’Style with the same idea in mind, incorporating the design of the L’Style with the commemorative quarter-century color combo. The most notable characteristic of this pair is the oft-praised “ice” gumsole, never before used in a Jordan 1 model. The silver trim on the heel and center panel is definitely a nice touch, and the neutral grey really sets it off. If you need these L’Styles in your life, Kinetics has these available via overseas purchase.

Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1

No strangers to sneaker collaborations, Sole Collector will help celebrate the launch of their new Nike Training feature with the introduction of a very special version of the Nike Trainer 1. In addition to the wild Aqua/Volt Air Trainer SC II-inspired color scheme, this new take on the Trainer 1 brings with it some interesting new tweaks to the model. Not only does the shoe feature a very Trainer-ish midfoot strap, but also sports a full 360 Air bag, similar to the recent Pacman version. The SC Trainer 1 also flaunts a ‘Sole Knows” tongue label with an embroidered image of the Air Trainer SC II on the inside portion of the right tag. As you can see, there will also be a matching Sole Knows t-shirt, but as you might have guessed, this stuff will not be easy to get. A limited quantity will be handed out to SC friends and family with a few others to be given to SC readers and forum members. Check out SoleCollector for more details and be sure to check out some more detailed pics after the jump.

Nike Air Zoom Uptempo V Premium White Orange Blaze Midnight Navy

Here is a blast from the past the Nike Air Zoom Uptempo V Premium, although this same shoe was once dubbed the Nike Zoom Flight V, it seems to have the same silhouette. This particular pair comes in a white/orange blaze colorway with a very subtle hint of midnight navy around the boarder of the ankle swoosh and tongue. Most of the upper is white with the orange accents on the midsole and liner. There is also a 3M reflective strip that wraps itself around the entire shoe.  These Nike Air Zoom Uptempo V Premiums are available now in Asia through Shoe-Planet, and should be making thier way to US retailers soon.

Air Jordan Alpha 1 Black Varsity Red

If December hasn’t been an exciting month of Jordan-filled goodies, here’s a look at the Air Jordan Alpha 1 in Black/Varsity Red/White. It’s a spin-off of the Black/Red Jordan 1 Mid with some interesting design cues. First and foremost, the perforated toebox, tongue, and center panel is something rarely seen on an Air Jordan. The Nike Terminator-esque midsole is something to note, as is the African tribal pattern on the sole. A plethora of personal touches are also evident, like the “Since ‘85” established on heel and the note of thanks on the insole. These are set to drop on January 16, 2010, but keep yours eyes on the TV as these are slated to be worn in games by Jordan Brand NBAers. Grab your pair from Kinetics.

Air Jordan Ol School III Black Orion Blue

Here’s a closer look at an upcoming colourway of the Air Jordan Ol’ School III.  Originally slated as a December 1 release, we still haven’t seen these hit retailers.  It’s good to see these detailed images today, so now you’ll have a chance to evaluate them before you cop.  They’re black nubuck, including a micro-perforated section on the toe and eye placket.  Orion blue for contrast stitching separates the dotty parts everything else and pops up again on the splatter printed heel.  There’s an Air Jordan XIV-like metallic silver Jumpman on the outer ankle and silver runs the length of the midsole for balance.  Sneaker News will update you as soon as Jordan Brand decides on a new release date.  via US10

Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Footwear & Apparel Preview

We’re all in agreement that 2010 has some quality drops in store from Jordan Brand.  Here’s further proof, as taken from the Fall 2010 catalog.  Keep in mind that this doesn’t include ‘Quickstrike’ drops and some of the better LS releases are blacked out for mystery, but here goes:

You already know about the black, white and citrus Air Jordan IX (9) Retros slated for July, and those will be joined by the OG white/red and black/red/charcoal pairs in August and September, respectively.  There’s also an AJII retro dropping in August, with a new Six Rings that might be all reflective 3M a la Raging Bull DMP, scheduled for September.

As for Air Jordan Force Fusions, we do see a few sprinkled in, but word is the project is wrapping up.  You’re still not going to get too far away from ‘hybrid’ status, though, given the exceptional and voluminous history of Air Jordan designs.  With this in mind, kicks like the Pro Strong, Jordan Airs and One6 One7 are sure to have you calling out the familiar aspects.

And we’re familiar with the Air Jordan 1 Retro’s status as Jordan Brand’s ‘Dunk’, which has caused much gnashing of teeth amongst purists.  Cheer up old timers, cos these new colourways are looking better than ever, and there’s a lot of cool apparel to match.  Yours truly’s personal favourites are the ‘The Ones, The Threes, The Fives’ shirts in that ever-popular Helvetica ‘&&&’ motif, along with the ‘crackle up’ elephant (print) shirt.  Check out pictures of these and more from the Jordan Brand Fall 2010 collection, all after the jump.  via NT

Nike Zoom Hustle Tony Parker + French National Team PE

Sneaker News reported a Tony Parker PE of the Nike Zoom Hustle, but Nike has decided to spread the love to Tony’s countrymen. The players of the French National Team have their own exclusive colourway of the Nike Zoom Hustle, inspired by the French national flag but with added colors, as seen in the turquoise swoosh border and additional trim. The perforated upper gives you a quick memento of the Zoom 2k3 that Tony Parker was also seen rocking on the court. Whether it’s the Spurs or the French team you root far, both are a real treat for Tony Parker fans. Available at the House of Hoops. via footlockerunlocked.
