The Air Jordan Alpha 1 got some quality airtime on Christmas Day. The red, white and black joints Dwyane Wade wore are dropping right in time for the OG’s 25th anniversary, but what about the PEs for Ray Allen and Jared Jeffries that both featured healthy portions of green? Unlikely to hit anywhere aside from the ‘bay, but maybe you can make up for that . . .
Enter the Air Jordan Alpha 1 on Nike iD. Air Jordan Flight Club members can customize and submit your designs until January 10th. You can’t buy them yet, but your submission is an entry into the contest to get one of the 23 pairs of Air Jordan Alpha 1 iDs.

Can’t wait for Eric Koston’s ‘other’ Nike SB Dunk to drop next year and like Stefan Janoski’s boat shoe of a signature? You’re in luck, as the Nike Mad Jibe is here in black/white/gum. The Dunk-soled deck shoe hybrid had been absent at a strange time, considering how many people are rockin’ Docksider-inspired looks of late, but it’s ready to join the crew in this new midtop design. Set sail for 2010 in these, available now from JBseller on eBay.

The first ‘annual’ Air Max runner to hit with big success in what seems like forever, the Nike Air Max 2009 is readying to escape obsolescence at the turn of the calendar. Here’s the NFW version, which has seen its Flywire-equipped side panels replaced by smooth leather. These joints have an ever so slight 112 Pack look, with the neon green midsole stripe evoking DJ Clark Kent and drawing your eye to the 360 degree Air bubble. Grab a pair today from Finish Line.

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the Air Jordan 2010 will be on the way in the near future in a variety of colorways. We’ve already given you looks at the White/Red/Black and Black/Grey/Red versions, as well as the Dwyane Wade PE edition, and now we get our first look at another upcoming colorway. This pair sports a Black patent/nubuck upper with splashes of University Blue on the midsole, branding, lining and contrast stitching. No word yet on a release for these, but it wouldn’t be surprising to seem them on the feet of the UNC Tar Heels when they take the floor come tourney time. For now though, you can grab yourself a pair early from MarqueeSole.

Team loyalties aside, Spike Lee, a big-time Knickerbocker fan, has been a major constituent of the Air Jordan line in terms of pop-culture recognition. The introduction of the Jordan Spiz’ike in 2006 was the culmination of Mike and Mars’ relationship, but in the form of a shoe. In addition, the Spiz’ike acts as a mini history lesson about Mike and Mars. This “Fresh Since 1985″ rendition employs classic Air Jordan details, like the use of true blue and fire red in color-blocking and two tones of elephant print. These are available in both mens and kids (GS) sizes at PremiumLaces.
Color: White-Black-Fire Red-True Blue

The Nike Rivalry Pack has generated a ton of hype, and rightfully so; designs were exclusive to hip-hop’s heaviest hitters, and who better than DJ Premier, who’s hit some of the biggest hip-hop grand slams, would fit this category? We’ve only seen raw sketches of the shoe, but check out these images to see a plethora of personal DJ Premier details. Premier’s logo on the outer toe guard, his stage name branded on the rear heels, and a clear “ice” gum-sole that acts as a window to a clever graphic of 1s and 2s are some of the accessories on Premier’s contribution to the Nike Rivalry Pack. This limited pair Nike Air Force 1 are set to drop in tandem with the DJ AM Nike Dunk High on January 9th at select Nike Retailers such as the Nike House of Hoops. via Dunk.
