Ah, love is in the air – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. You know what that means: another seasonal colourway of a signature Nike shoe. To all the ladies out there, check out the upcoming pair of the Valentine’s Day edition of the Nike Dunk High. It features a canvas upper, a stitched-on white polka-dot pattern, and a swoosh adorned with patent leather (not a newcomer when it comes to Valentine’s Day Nikes). Hopefully these will release in the states with appropriate timing, unlike the Christmas Nike Air Force 1, which released just days before the actual holiday. Guys, if you’re need these in time for your significant other, pre-order yours from Limited EDT, or check out the other Nike WMNS Valentine’s Day releases.

While A Bathing Ape’s presence on American street fashionistos has diminished, Nigo and company are still making the most out of bright, cartoonish designs. The latest Bape Skullsta is completely covered in Devilock-designed faces that kinda remind us of the Ice Cream logo (Nigo and Pharrell are pretty tight, after all), except for the white, Superstar-like toe cap. These are available now from Eproze.

Many may not know, but the 12 Days thing actually refers to post-festivities rather than the days leading to Christmas. This isn’t gonna be a religion class, however we will put you on the up-and-up on this. Recognizing their wit and creativity to market their products, we teamed up with Long Island boutique, Extra Butter, for a holiday-oriented project inspired by what else but our favorite thing- sneakers. Jordans to be exact. With the design help of mutual affiliate, 2B-Original, a poster was created featuring Air Jordan illustrations putting a twist on the 12 Days of Christmas carol. With the numbers in each lyric referring to its respective Jordan counterpoint, the caricature is given life by its specific colorway or nickname. Just put up on display at the EB shop, this will be available in mini-poster size in the near future. Enjoy the details of each illustration, and stay tuned for further info.

When NBA Playoff time rolls around, we expect Nike to release a new shoe for LeBron, and it should be named Zoom LeBron Soldier IV or thereabouts. An annual tradition ever since the first LeBron rode the first ZLS to an unlikely Finals berth in 2007, the Soldier is a sign of solidarity for the Cavs, who all wear the same colourway until they get eliminated.
So will the Nike (Air Max?) LeBron VII PS be eliminated before it can reach the PostSeason (for which it was conveniently named)? Either way, it’s interesting to see the AML7 with it’s Air bubble eliminated from the mix. We’d assume there’s also Zoom in them-thar soles, but that remains to be seen. All Conditions Gear labels have graced some of the craziest sneakers and boots in Nike’s history, but we still didn’t expect something this outlandish. Here comes the Nike ACG Woodside in all its duck-booted glory. The pair pictured above comes in the traditional brown/tan/green palette, while a black and white joint you’ll see after the jump puts a new spin on this immortal design. Both are available for nasty winter weather from Premium Laces.

The grey, orange and white Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) looked so good, we’re going to see more editions with different accent colours. The steely patent leather sections remain the same, but the orange sections will be swapped out for royal blue or dark red, depending on your tastes. These would make an awesome team shoe, but the new pairs also both compliment Cavaliers’ jerseys, so we wouldn’t be surprised if King James rocks these on-court in the near future. The Air Jordan Alpha 1 got some quality airtime on Christmas Day. The red, white and black joints Dwyane Wade wore are dropping right in time for the OG’s 25th anniversary, but what about the PEs for Ray Allen and Jared Jeffries that both featured healthy portions of green? Unlikely to hit anywhere aside from the ‘bay, but maybe you can make up for that . . .
Enter the Air Jordan Alpha 1 on Nike iD. Air Jordan Flight Club members can customize and submit your designs until January 10th. You can’t buy them yet, but your submission is an entry into the contest to get one of the 23 pairs of Air Jordan Alpha 1 iDs.

Can’t wait for Eric Koston’s ‘other’ Nike SB Dunk to drop next year and like Stefan Janoski’s boat shoe of a signature? You’re in luck, as the Nike Mad Jibe is here in black/white/gum. The Dunk-soled deck shoe hybrid had been absent at a strange time, considering how many people are rockin’ Docksider-inspired looks of late, but it’s ready to join the crew in this new midtop design. Set sail for 2010 in these, available now from JBseller on eBay.
