Nike 6.0 might not even exist without BMX pillar Bob Haro (who until recently sponsored Dave Mirra, whose MirraCo currently sponsors Nike 6.0 rider Nigel Sylvester). They’d never directly worked together, but that changed when Haro designed a Nike 6.0 Mavrk Mid for the LIGHTNING BOLTS art auction. These comic-celled canvas kicks were auctioned off alongside over 50 unique handlebar designs to benefit the Athlete Recovery Fund. via Passover

Nike 6.0 = ‘action’ sports. For practical purposes, it’s BMX, but they also sell skate shoes, and recently boots, along with a pretty big selection of apparel.
