Early last month, we gave you a sneak peek at one of the most intriguing new models to come out of the adidas design labs in a while. The Fortitude Mid features an incredibly slick look with a combination of nice materials and stylish touches. Here we take a closer look at the black/purple version, which sports a suede/mesh upper with contrasting hits of grey and purple, as well as a white midsole and lace loops and some plum-colored accents on the tongue and laces. Thoughtful extra touches like the reflective 3M sections and x-shaped stitching give the fresh silhouette of the Fortitude some added style points, definitely making this an adidas model to get excited about. Several colorways of the Fortitude Mid are expected to hit shelves in the coming months, but this version is already in stock and available from Packer Shoes.

Maybe so, just too bad Nike hasn’t been this creative in a while and didn’t come up with these themselves. Clown…
