The Nike Flightposite series of the late 90′s/early 00′s truly turned heads on the asphalt and on the streets; the designs were very alien-esque and pushed the envelope of basketball shoe architecture. The Nike Flightposite I was retroed over the last two years, much to the pleasure of sneakerheads and ballers. Here comes the Nike Flightposite 2, or known as the Flightposite KG; it was Kevin Garnett’s signature shoe with Nike before he bolted to adidas. The carbon fiber midsole and in-step zipper that covered the laces were seldom used in basketball kicks, but that is precisely why the Flightposite II was a huge success. These are available via phone order at Extra Butter.

Those were his last Nike’s before he “bolted” to And1, not Adidas.
Love you cats, and these classics.
