Some of the greatest, most influential companies of our time were spearheaded not only by intellects and scholars, but by visionaries; individuals who don’t see the big picture, but instead create it. Nike has changed the world of sports apparel and culture, largely due to the ingenious trifecta of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker, three undeniable visionaries in the realm of footwear.
The Nike HTM line is one of progressive ideas and iconoclastic design, and the upcoming HTM 2 will push the envelope even further. While the official name of the shoe is still a work-in-progress, the HTM 2 features some design cues seen in the more distinguished sneakers in Nike’s history. It features a Nike Free 7.0 sole with a lace-less upper, and is set release sometime this year in with colourways done by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker. Another upcoming HTM shoe is the Nike Footscape Free Motion, one that Sneaker News previewed not too long ago. via Freshnessmag.
