Almost twelve years after its initial release, the Jumpman Pro Strong will be the focus of a non-signature Jordan retro, like the Air Jumpman Pro of 2009. Bearing a strong resemblance to the Air Jordan XIII, the Jumpman Pro Strong was intended to be a low-post shoe, focusing on protection and support, unlike its counterpart, the Jumpman Pro Quick, which was geared toward speed and agility. The Jumpman Pro Strong was also the signature shoe for Vin Baker, the overshadowed surprise of the ’93 NBA Draft. Vin Baker’s made attempts at comebacks, but we’ve got a feeling that Jordan Jumpman Pro Strong will see better results, with a Black/Red/White, Black/Black, and White/Red/Black colourway slated for release on top of the Vin Baker colourway. via counterkicks.

End of summer 97′, I was broke-azz-hell, I specificly, & desparately, purposely, hit a-lic, just so i could buy these. BEST BASKETBALL SHOE I EVER HOOPED WIT. (indoor or outdoor) I literely balled in’em untill they feel apart in 05′. Almost bought a bootlegged version in 06′. One of my mans owes me some dough, I bet him, that these would drop this year! Hope you reading this London, U sucka, now pay me!!!!!

yessir!!! i wonder if theyre bringing back the joints that were half white, half black too…
January 14th, 2010 at 3:44 pm
these shoes might be nice functionally for basketball but the look is sub par. take off the jordan logo and it’s something on the shelf at payless.
January 14th, 2010 at 4:34 pm
@dookie
If you like the 13′s and you say these are sub par than I don’t know what to say. SMH. They are practically the same shoe. These are actually more durable cause indoor/outdoor the shoe performed.

Yo! I remember these. I live in Seattle and have for the past 18yrs. These bring back memories of Vin Baker and our lost Sonics. I doubt I will buy them but I am glad to see Jordans continued support for the NW. Maybe I’ll catch these on sale and add them to the collection then. …..by the way… Fuk OK! and the peeps that stole the Sonics!
January 14th, 2010 at 6:52 pm
