Martin Luther King Jr. is acclaimed for many of his remarkable traits. His leadership, however, was an intregal cog of the Civil Rights movement, and directly contributed to a change in society and humanity. Nearly half a century later, people of all races celebrate this holiday by joining hands and remembering King’s efforts and determination. Yesterday, on the NBA court, we got to see a great team leader sport his signature shoe in a new, commemorative colourway. Check out the in-game photos of the Nike Zoom Kobe V Martin Luther King Jr. colourway.

The gun-metal, green, and red colourway of the Zoom Kobe V was worn by Bryant during the Monday contest against the Magic. The 2010 MLK Jr. colourway is a complete turn-around from last year’s MLK Kobe IV, which was comprised of LA Laker colors. There is, however, speculation that this gun-metal colourway might be the rumored Aston Martin Zoom Kobe V, so we’ll keep you updated about that. Check out the pics to see these Kobe Vs in action.
