It’s easy for a boutique to get a collab shoe- it’s pretty much an incentive for giving these footwear brands so many sales. As an artist being asked to design a shoe, it pretty much shows where you are in your career; you’re doing big things and a brand knows what you can do for one of their shoes. But as an informative platform, sites provide so much info that is unbeknownst to the masses in any other way, yet that doesn’t mean those behind these sites are necessarily creative themselves.
Freshness just posted a sneak peak of their first collaboration with adidas with more on the way it seems like. The adidas Equation, the convertible bball shoe that got some good buzz from its NBA team editions, will be getting a new look full of Freshness. The black upper with white 3-stripe patterns, influenced by dazzle camo, is contrasted by lime green stitching to compliment the Freshness logo on the tongue. No matter if you decide to rock ‘em high or low, this is gonna be a serious look. via Freshness
