The sneaker world was overflowing this past week with some very buzz-worthy happenings. At the top of the list, we learned of the confirmation of some long-beloved Retro Air Jordan releases, as well as some new looks at the Lakers Air Jordan VI and a classic AJII Retro colorway. Nike SB also made some noise with a look at their February lineup and an interesting new holiday-themed Dunk Low dropping in March. Nike’s Kill Bill pack and the new Trainer SC 2010 drew some major attention, and some big name celebrities in interesting kicks were running rampant. AIR JORDAN RETRO RELEASES CONFIRMED
Jordanheads across the world had good reason to rejoice this week as the Retro returns of the White/Cement Air Jordan III and the Cool Grey and snakeskin Air Jordan XI’s were officially confirmed for release later this year.

Nike SB gave us a look at what to expect this February, and although the lineup is less than jaw-dropping, hopefully next month’s Quickstrikes will come to the rescue.

While it has already been noted that the Air Jordan II will return this year in this beloved Retro colorway, many Jordan collectors were thrilled to see that this upcoming version sports the original NIKE branding on the back. (at least on this sample pair)

Holidays are always a prime target for sneaker drops, and this year, Nike SB has something special in store for the St. Patty’s celebration.

From seemingly out of nowhere, we saw the drop of a new Nike pack inspired by Kobe’s Black Mamba nickname and some related Kill Bill tie-ins.
