Though it hasn’t been as chilly as a few weeks ago, we still can’t wait to enjoy the sunny skies and warm climates. Or there are just some that wish they were on vacation, despite the string of off-days from Thanksgiving until now, from the already-manifested stresses of 2010. Whatever it be, rocking kicks like this might help vibe off better times. A Hawaiian Pack, in the form of four Insta-Pump Fury’s, sport bright colors associated with any island perfect for maxin-and-relaxin. But it’s the distinctive graphics, unique from each pair, in the textile paneling that make you want to hang 10 and enjoy a nightly luau. Cop now from BingoRunner

If you made the cliche New Years resolution of promising to get in shape, Nike’s new Trainers should definitely put you on the right foot forward. Nike now has three colourways of the Flywire and Air Max equipped Nike Trainer SC 2010 for you to lace up and hit the gym with. We already previewed the Oakland Raiders Trainer SC 2010 a few days back, but check out the white/orange/grey (similar to the OG Trainer SC that retroed a few months ago) and the white/blue colourway. So get your rear off the couch and take the first step toward the new you, because these will drop any day now at NikeStore.

2010 is the fifth year now that John Varvatos has been adding his premium touch to Converse footwear. In his spring 2010 collection, you can expect the same kind of deluxe vintage Americana that’s synonymous with his name. There’s a ton of good stuff here, including the woven Chuck Taylor Ox that’s surrounded by distressed lowtops. The release date of the Air Jordan II (2) 25th Anniversary Edition has been postponed to February 27th, 2010. Initially scheduled to become available this Saturday, January 30th, Jordan Brand has decided to delay the release of the Air Jordan II for four weeks. Why? The Air Jordan I (1) 25th Anniversary Edition, initially thought to be an Asia Exclusive, will also be a U.S. release, dropping on February 13th. This new revelation leads us to believe that Jordan Brand might intend to release all pairs of the Air Jordan 25th Anniverary Edition in numerical order, but that remains to be seen. We’ll give you more in-depth info regarding the rest of the AJ25 Collection, but for now, be advised that the Air Jordan I (1) is release on February 13th and the Air Jordan II (2) will follow on the 27th.

It’s a great thing to see how so many aspects of society can influence the direction and progress of the sneaker community. But let’s not forget that our culture that we’ve become so fond of came forth from our original love for sports culture- specifically basketball. Player signature shoes has become a focal point, actually basketball shoes in general have been back on the rise. Lately it’s been circulating around All-Star Weekend, when th ebest of the best come to gether to throwdown. But don’t get things twisted, when all is said and done, these guys wanna go back to their teams and hold it down.
The adidas “Fan’dom” Pack has built so much team pride for 6 of the NBA’s biggest teams. For those under a rock, the pack will include Phantom II Mids repping colors for the Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, LA Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. The team logos are woven on the tongue, and the squads name displayed on the heel. Though an exact release day has still yet to be established, we know that only a select few FootLockers will have them for sale. Check the list below for location details and expect these to release in the next few weeks as they are expected to arrive at the store in early February. Via Unlocked.

The 2010 NBA All Star Game starters have been announced, but we still haven’t gotten a look at more than one photo of these until now. Like the Zoom Kobe V and Air Max LeBron VII ASG drops, these Nike Hyperizes feature that dope woodgrain 3M overlay, including an inset star right around the pinky toe area. The East’s blue joints have a similarly hewn but translucent outsole, while the West contrasts their red uppers with the traditional icey bottom. It’s a tough choice, but you have until next Friday, Feb 5th when they’re set to drop at House of Hoops. via Slam

Aside from intentional irony that’s really a little more hipsterish anyway, Converse is about the only mainstream fashion brand that hardcore punks ever embraced. Even so, it’s slightly strange to see one of the iconic acts of ’77-style get up with One Star for these collabo packs. Then again, there are two Joe Strummer Nike SB Dunks, and the ‘Afters’ are one of yours truly’s all-time faves, so who am I to judge.
These Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars designed with imagery made famous by The Clash shows you that ‘The Only Band That Matter[ed]‘ is now another footnote in the pop culture annals. And that’s literally true with these three new Chucks. Take a look at up-close photos of each pair after the jump.

Last year’s Jordan Brand Classic was probably most notable for Marcus Troy’s appearance in the red AJF4 Premier. This year, it might be the Air Jordan Icons colourway pictured above. You might think it looks like something for the Puerto Rican national team, but a Jordan Brand Classic insignia on the heel is the ‘that’s what’s up’ on these joints. The blue and white upper is split right where the midsole tooling allows a two-face look, so these are sure to be highly saught after for fashion as well as their limited status. If you can’t wait, MarqueeSole has a limited size run in stock already.

On February 14th, you’ll have a bunch of reasons to celebrate. Even if you’re single with no prospects, there are an insane amount of quality kicks designed after the upcoming Year of the (Metal) Tiger. With this Nike Classic Cortez, the nylon underlay is covered in tonal tiger stripes, which extends to the ’2010.2.14′-emblazoned insoles.
There are a ton of dope features like a red trim on the right shoe to signify the red string worn by people born on Tiger-years, plus the Chinese characters for ‘tiger’ and ‘peace’ on the tongues. Additionally each pair will be accompanied by a pair of laces designed by Starks. This Cortez is so hot, it deserves special packaging. Aside from the general release, only 200 pairs come in boxes that open from their specialized box with a five-finger death grip! That right there justifies the purchase, if you can get your hands on them. The special edition Nike Tiger Cortez box drops on Feb. 10th and in the ‘standard’ box on Feb. 13th. With all the dope Jordan Brand PEs he’s been rocking, Dwyane Wade is ‘already home’. JB welcomed him in grand fashion with those Player Exclusives, plus a whole room full of retro Jays, but this might be his nicest shoe yet. The Air Jordan 2010 appears above in a white/red/black colourway that we’re sure MJ would wear at home if this was 15 or 20 years earlier.
Instead, they’re a lock for D-Wade’s Miami Heat Home PE, and just look at the ‘W3lcome Home’ insoles if you need more proof. They’re Carolina blue on the bottom just like all AJ2010 insoles, but it’s the translucent red outsoles everyone’s likely to be buzzing over. This pair is available in a limited size run from Marquee Sole.
