Nike Dunks with healthy portions of canvas are always well received, but this one turns that ‘classic’ fabric on its ear. With the Nike WMNS Dunk High Supreme pictured above, it looks like they started with a purplish-black base and then applied (mostly) vertical stripes with a thin-cap Krylon. The fading/gradients gives these a flourescent look that should help you navigate through the night. Colmilludo reports that these are available now from Mexico’s Shelter.

If you get a little twinge of deja vu when you first see the new Nike MS78 LE, chances are, you’re thinking ‘Pegasus’. The MS78s have a sole and heel support that are straight out of the Air Pegasus 89‘s playbook, and this first colourway is a classic itself. You really just can’t go wrong with black/grey/white and red. Trick all but the supremely astute in the Nike MS78, it’s available now from Atmos NYC.

How close to 100 is the percent chance you’ll see a new MVPuppets commercial on TNT’s broadcast of the 2010 NBA All Star Game? Probably about as close as the dunking styles evinced by the Kobe and LeBron likenesses on this new duo of tees from Nike. Kobe’s is black to contrast his red Western Conference uni, while Bron-Bron’s is a darker shade of blue than his electrified woodgrain Air Max LeBron VIIs. Dime reports that these should be available in and around Dallas soon, but stick with Sneaker News in case they have a limited release elsewhere.

If you haven’t noticed yet, adidas is coming strong in 2010 with a nice blend of new and old models. We showed some pieces from the adidas Originals Tech Pack a few weeks back, and now we bring you a better look at the classic Superstar, as well as the intriguing new ZX Spezial. Like the other installments of the Tech Pack, both shoes sport a predominantly black upper with white and blue accents. The ZX Spezial, which boasts a far more modern and intricate design than the Superstar, also throws some hints of grey into the mix, but aside from the color scheme, it’s the zig-zag teeth that line the midsole of the Superstar and the tongue of the Spezial that bring the pack together in perfect harmony. Keep reading for a better look at both, and if you like what you see, you can find them in stock now at Packer Shoes.

When Nike’s Back to School Pack dropped this past fall, a pair of Dunk Highs dropped with some striping on the side panels and ankle collar. By the green and yellow colourup, it was clear that these were a sendup of Crayola Crayons, but it wasn’t an official collaboration. When you see the aglets on these joints, they’re similar, but a little sharper.
That’s because this is a Vans x Crayola collaboration. From the looks of this preview from WWD, we can see iconic Off the Wall silhouettes like Sk8-Hi, Slip-On and Authentic, all done in lively palettes. Click the jump below to see more of the crayon kicks on tap for Fall ‘Ten.

If you’ve been wearing any of Nike’s Flywire-equipped runners, you know that one of the best parts is how supremely light they are. Because you can remove alot of the stiffer reinforcing materials, you end up with super-comfy, foot-formed kicks, especially the ones with neoprene sockliners.
Enter the Nike Footscape Freemotion, the Free-soled and Flywired version of a shoe that’s been killing it in Asia for almost a decade now. This style is sure to win over some stateside shoeheads, with its simple white on black colourway, and of course, the made-just-for-you feel. They should hit retailers soon, but Marquee Sole has a limited size run available already.

The NBA All-Star Game is looming closer and the craze is building even more. We gave a preview of what D. Howard’s expecting to sport for the big game, but now we get a little more in depth with a look-see. Like all other footwear made especially for All-Star Weekend, the colors rep his respective conference team, along with this years logo on the medial panel and ALL STAR on the tongue. We’ll see how far Superman can leap i a single bound with this Formotion midsole. Fans should also look forward to its release at all FootLockers All-Star Weekend, February 12th.

Nike Sportswear has a ton of dope running releases on tap, and we got a look at plenty at the latest Bread & Butter tradeshow. Pictured above is the updates Nike Air Classic BW Gen II, looking Torch-hot in black/red. There are also two different black Air Max 1s, both of which share the BW’s swooping tongue tag insignia. That seems to be a theme of this collection, as it comes up again on the latest Air Max 90 Current Moire, looking very aggressive in red and white.
A similar fiery shade comes up on one of the two ‘other’ AM1s that look like they very well could be a womens release. They look pretty springy, but the white Mariah PR takes the cake on that front. Last but not least, a black and white base with a single accent describes a pair of ‘classic’ Classic BWs, plus the Air Pegasus 83. Impeccable collection here, so be sure to check the photos after the jump. via Suede&Mesh

There’s a good chance the name Robert Indiana doesn’t ring a bell, but we’re certain you’re familiar with his work. His famous LOVE design, original created as a Christmas card, has been recreated as sculptures around the globe. Now the design hits footwear, as Converse lays it upon Chuck lows. Available now in white/black or blue/red, this all-over print on canvas just might becomes a timeless classic. We’ll see if any more LOVE motif Chucks come out in the near future.

So what are the biggest trends lately? Hi-tops; check. Cupped vamp to gear towards a lifestyle shoe; check. Velcro strap; check. This adidas Y-3 Hayworth II Mid fits the mold. Throw in some paint splatter- well, really a paint drizzle- pattern for an added level of aesthetics. Sure to be high-quality leather, the Hayworth also features padded strips on the medial panel of the shoe, as well as a textured transparent panel on the heel to reveal the Y-3 branding. As Futura does it for the consumer friendly models, this would be the Jackson Pollack for high-end lifestyle sneakers. Cop either the black or white pair at the steep price of $300 from SSENSE.

Nike’s “History of Air” that was unveiled in December of 2005 gave Nike’s Air Max line the proper homage it deserved. Part of the Air legacy was the Nike Air 180, which takes a perennial back-seat to the more popular models, like the Nike Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 95. Nonetheless, the Nike Air 180 still stands as one of the sickest runners Nike has ever produced, and in 2010, we should be expecting a number of great colourways. Check out the Cream/Orange/Black colourway, similar to that of the Top Ramen Dunk Low SB, and the Air Jordan VIII Aqua inspired black/purple/aquatone colourway. This is just the tip of the 180 iceberg, so stay tuned to Sneaker News and we’ll give you the lowdown on newer colourways and release dates, or check out the Nike Sportswear 2010 Preview. via Suede and Mesh.

Georgetown is pretty lucky to receive some Player Exclusives from Jordan Brand, but apparently it wasn’t lucky enough during Monday night’s Big East bout as the Orangmen had the Hoyas seeing red. Syracuse’s definitive 17-point victory over Georgetown solidified the ’03 National Champion’s stranglehold on its conference. But all sports aside, check out the newest Georgetown Jordan Brand PEs, like the Jordan Ol’ School III and Jordan Hallowed Ground the Hoyas wore last night, or think back to the Jordan 16.5 Georgetown PE from a month ago. While the Hoyas’ rankings may take a hit after their loss, they definitely went up in the cool-points category. via Jumpman23.
