Nike WMNS Huarache Dance Black Orange Purple

The thing about Nike Huarache sneakers is that with the deconstructed heel cup, you can rock the neoprene-lined socklike kicks all day, everyday.  They’re comfy as hell, period, point blank.  So we assume that’s what’s up with the new Nike WMNS Huarache Dance.  Probably not literally intended as a dance sneaker, these Phoenix Suns-coloured joints are more likely just a slightly-techy lifestyle look.  If you can fit into US womens sizes 6-10, you’re in luck: Atmos NYC has these today.

Nike SB Dont Fear The Sweeper Video Part 2

Check out the latest video from Nike SB’s “Don’t Fear the Sweeper” Tour, as Team Nike sets upon the Northeast to coast along local skateparks, building fronts, empty pools, and deserted lots. Notable Team Nike newbie Eric Koston shows he’s one to not only talk the talk, but to walk the walk, as he attempts 18 tricks in one 10-minute run (with teammate Brad Staba egging him on), and does so with relative ease while wearing the Nike SB Stefan Janoski. Another funny tidbit about the video is not the amount of cussing, but the big-rig style horn used to “bleep” out their dirty words. Check out the entire video and stills after the motha *HOOONKK* jump. via NikeSB.

Celebrity Feet: Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West and his girlfriend, Amber Rose, were amongst a number of celebrities who attended this year’s Paris Fashion Week. Kanye whose been quiet since his incident at last year’s MTV VMA Awards Show has been making quite the scene in Paris with his various outfits and sneakers. During the first day of Paris Fashion Week, Yeezy attended a number of shows wearing a fur coat, White tee, jeans, and a pair of 6″ Timberland workboots. On the second day, Kanye and Amber were spotted sitting front row at a few shows including the Yves Saint Laurent show, where Kanye was wearing a pair of $1,000 Christian Louboutin Rollerball loafers. Finally on the last day, Kanye caught up with his friend Pharrell, whose made a bit of sneaker news himself while in Paris by wearing Nike Snowboarding Zoom Force 1 Boots to the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes. The two music producers were seen sitting next to each other at the Lanvin show, where Kanye decided to switch it up on the third day, opting for a pair of Hermes crocodile leather sneakers. Take a look at all of the outfits Kanye, Amber, Pharrell, and others wore during Paris Fashion Week after the jump…

Nike Hyperdunk Low McFly Unreleased Sample Available on eBay

Samples can range from earlier versions of sneakers you know are dropping, to something supremely rare like this that will never make it to retail.  Nike cancelled its McFly Hypermax with the Hyperdunk Low version axed shortly after, making this size 9 sample exponentially more interesting.  Don’t forget about the dope colourway, which is hot enough that it’d be a best-seller even without the Back to the Future association.  As you can see, these were manufactured in April of last year, and pretty much every sample from that period has already released or been canned altogether.  A very nice piece to add to your collection, they’re available from verbDWS on eBay.

Air Jordan X (10) Dissected

When we’ve had a chance to look at dissected Air Jordans, the general concensus has been, “Wow, that’s dope, but oh my god why did they do that to that OG heat?!”  Simple: because donating beaters sometimes provides the whole sneakerhead scene with eye candy.  Let’s take this opportunity to go over the Air Jordan X Steels with a fine tooth comb (and pliars).

The guys from Korea’s NikeMania did a really thorough job here, and there are tons of photos after the jump that detail how you can get eight distinct pieces from the AJX: leather upper, eye-placeket and ankle collar, insole, top and bottom of mid and outsoles that sandwiched the full-length Air cushion between them, the heel cup, and of course, the tongue.  Be sure to click below to see the whole process.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro Oreo Release Info

Next month will see the Air Jordan VI released in the never-before-retailed Motorsports edition, but it’s not the only white and black AJ6 to keep your eye on.  This ‘Oreo’ AJVI has a speckled midsole reminiscent of the identically nicknamed Air Jordan IV colourway, but its translucent midsole sections are entirely-AJ6.  We just learned today that they’re set to release on Saturday, March 20th at Jordan Brand retailers like Foot Locker, so stick with Sneaker News for any changes.

adidas Centennial Mid Brown Light Blue Red

Here’s a shoe that had no choice but to be dope.  The latest adidas Centennial Mid colourway is one of the dopest we’ve ever seen, and has us wishing that this colourway pops up in other places.  For now, admire how the tan canvas, lightly tumbled carmel leather, and other tonal hits provide the perfect base for red and carolina blue accents.  Where else would those colours show up, not looking like a Wii, and still amazing?  These adidas Centennials are available now from Schuh-You.

Nike Sellwood Mid AC GS Black Electric Green

From time to time, womens and gradeschool sized kicks make your average sneakerhead jealous.  Here’s an entirely new silhouette that we hope grows up ASAP.  The Nike Sellwood Mid AC is pictured here in a colourway you’d give to a kid who’s a big Matrix fan.  They get a futuristic look thanks to the neon green on black motif, plus the wing’s gradient.  An interesting take on the grid underlay that we just saw on an Air Force 1 Low GS yesterday, we wouldn’t mind more.  They’re available at Atmos if you’re in NYC, or online from Finish Line.

adidas Originals ZX8000 Grey Purple

Coming off the decidedly darker Darth Vader edition, the adidas Originals ZX8000 is looking downright springy.  The lavender accents push this one toward Easter egg status, but there’s alot of grey and black to make these pretty neutral.  These are still eye-catching, though, since most of the upper is done in a super-shiny patent leather.  This is one of the best colourways of an adidas classic, and should be available at select adidas Originals retailers shortly.

Ice Cream Drippy Sneaker Three New Colorways

The image of Pharrell in Nike Zoom Force 1 boots is probably burned into your mind right now, but don’t forget: the man has his own sneaker line as well.  The latest release from Ice Cream is the Drippy Sneaker.  Three new colourways of this canvas midtop features the same gooey melt of a midsole that made their Canvas Waffle lowtops so tasty.  Fashion friendly colourways including black/red, yellow/green and green/blue are available from the BBC/Ice Cream store on ZOZO.
