We’ve previewed a number of All-Star colourways of Nike basketball shoes, particularly the All-Star LeBron VII and All-Star Kobe V. Let’s not forget the other big dog in the basketball shoe game, because there are two adidas All-Star colourways – the adidas TS Supernatural Commander in the East Blue and the adidas TS Supernatural Creator in the West Red. Both features a Texas basketball logo, similar to the one found on the All-Star Air Force 1 2010. There are a number of great pics for you to examine, and expect these to be on the feet of NBA All-Stars like Dwight Howard and the controversial selection Tracy McGrady. via kenlu.

The phrase “I Love New York” is as famous a catch phrase as any other. The I Heart NY print can be seen on t-shirts at souvenir shops or on plastic bags from your corner bodega. Such a provincial saying is limited to New York, but this new duet of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars in a Low and High make it fitting for any city. The “I Heart” is followed by a large blank for you to fill in your favorite city/object/person, or you can just leave it blank as is. This is a Product (Red) item so you know you’d be showing your love to someone else in need, and with the recent tragedy in Haiti, help is always needed. via bkrw.

Seeing a pair of Jordans on the hardwood is always a nice treat; NBA players themselves are without a doubt fans of Michael Jordan, so it can be refreshing to know that a professional athlete shares the same sentiments as you do. On Sunday night, we saw the latest member of Team Jordan Dwyane Wade rock a pair of the White/Red Air Jordan XII, but with a slight twist. Yesterday, Wade wore a variation of the Flu Game Air Jordan XII, continuing his display of homage to Michael Jordan who is no longer just his idol, but also his employer.
Unfortunately, the only Heat that showed up was that on Wade’s feet, as Miami got blown out by nearly forty points. Just like the White/Red XIIs Wade wore on Sunday, the Flu Game’s he sported yesterday night featured gold on the sides of the midsole and on the Jumpman, and also in place of the heel graphic. The Flu Game “face” also appears to be absent on the tongue. So what will D-Wade wear next? Possibly the soon-to-release Air Jordan VI Varsity Red? via Yahoo Sports.

The Nike Air Max A Lot is an obvious mix of Scottie Pippen’s two Nike sigs from the 90′s, the Nike Air More Uptempo and Nike Air Pippen II. While the recently previewed “Rasta” colourway of this mash-up was left with mixed reviews, this new Chicago Bulls colourway will have you second-guessing your opinions. The upper is entirely black with a patent leather toe, while the midsole shares red and white – and again, the Bulls color combo doesn’t fail to impress. Check out the tongue and you’ll see that Nike is not hiding their intentions with the Max A Lot design. via tistory.

We’ve seen several looks at the Cool Grey palettes for the Nike Air Max LeBron VII already, but none as in-depth as these. Now, we’ve done posts with more pictures, but this one gives the diehard sneakerheads a unique look at the sampling process. You can see some notes written on the shoes themselves, which have apparently been scrawled by a Ben Smith.
You’ll find his name on the Pou Chen sample label and there are a bunch of highly detailed papers that accompanied the kicks. These detail key features of these samples and how these should look when they hit retail. Word is, they’re set for an Eastbay exclusive, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via NT

Liked the Air Royal Mid we saw earlier today (feel free to scroll down, it’s the post just before this one)? Here’s a Nike Air Flytop with a versatile springy look. It shares the same smooth white leather that formed the aforementioned Air Royal’s upper, but these go with darker accent hits. Black and super dark grey compel you to avoid navy blue, but everything else is good to go. A perfect staple shoe for spring, these joints just dropped at Caliroots.

Between all the trade shows going on lately, there’s a whole lot of previews for upcoming stuff from a bunch of brands. Here, a sneak peak from one of the boutique pioneers- Alife. From what we can tell so far, Alife is yet another brand transitioning towards the lifestyle look rather than the typical athletic-influenced sneaker. Look forward to a bunch of new colorways of existing styles, as well as all-new models, for 2010. via HS

No other shoe in recent Jordan Brand history has received an equal amount of acclaim and hatred like the Air Jordan Force Fusions have. Jordan purists stayed away and chastised the designers, while Air Force 1 lovers and those with an open mind (particular the younger generation) embraced the hybridization of these two iconic kicks. The AJF series now reaches the Air Jordan VIII, and it contains all the features that made the 8s a standout, with it’s criss-crossed instep strap, fuzzy emblem on the tongue, and paint-streak design above the midsole. Overall, the Air Jordan Force VIII does a pretty good job at capturing the Jordan VIII persona. These are available now at kix-files.

We’ve seen some crazy Nike Air Max LeBron VII colourways over the past couple weeks, so here’s something more basic. They look good in white and black with metallic gold accents, but that is a curious colourway. For the longest time, we’ve always been told to never mix navy blue and black, so which Cavs jerseys would these match? Either way, they’re streetwear friendly, and available from Schuh-You.

Followers of the Chinese Zodiac deem 2010 as the Year of the Tiger. Followers of the Jordan Legend deem 2010 as the Year of the Air Jordan VI. There are already five Air Jordan VI retros that have been confirmed for 2010, which could have disastrous effects on a Jordanhead’s wallet. Patent leather gets another go at the AJ6, first seen on the Olympic Air Jordan VI that released in 2008, but the Pistons colourway uses suede as well. A multi-colored midsole of graphite, varsity red, and true blue is blended well with the clear outsole. These are due out in the upcoming months, so stay tuned with Sneaker News or check up on our Air Jordan Release Date page. via taobao.

If you’re anything like yours truly, you’ve probably reached down to pump up your kicks while rocking the heel back and forth so you can see the sole light up. Oh, you’ve never done either of those? Well, let me introduce to you what is easily the best gimmick sneaker so far this 19-day-old decade.
The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chirping Bird’ looks like a Denim-CL redux, and its black/white/red colourway is a can’t-lose. But the reason these are getting so much attention is that there’s a module implanted into the (puffy) tongues that tweets at you when you press it. Consider these new photos a ‘retweet’, and get ready for a stateside release soon; they’ve already dropped at FightClub Osaka.
