Nike has a reputation about being serious about their training equipment, and 2010 stands to be a solid year for those who are ready to hit the gridiron. Check out this new colourway of the Nike Lunar Kayoss in grey, black and red. These are currently available in Europe, but should be hitting the states very soon. In the meantime, check out the other colourways, like the White/Black/Purple Lunar Kayoss that resembles the Nike Zoom Kobe V Inline. We’ll give you the heads up when the black/red colourway drops in the US.

Nike 6.0 is taking a big step forward, but this latest release is true to their heritage. Something a little closer to say, DC’s earlier and more techy work, the Nike 6.0 Zoom Oncore 2 is an aggressive design that’s more affordable than most Nike SB releases. This one has a nice look, thanks to the white/grey/black combo and choice hits of turquoise and red. Colmilludo reports that they’re out at the Nike Sportswear 1902 and 1897 stores in Mexico City and Guadalajara, respectively.

There’s no doubt the Nike SB owned the skater-shoe culture for the better portion of the 21st century. Dedicated skaters may have remained loyal to dedicated brands, but Nike SB was still top dog. But times have slowly changed, and to say Nike has no competition would be foolish; adidas Skate is making moves and Converse is ready to take a hack at the competition. Converse’s Skateboarding line has expanded and its 2010 collection features classic models like the Pro Leather, but also features new deigns, like the Weapon S Ox, Weapon S XHI, Sea Star, and CVO, in addition to the Converse CVO Mid that we previewed earlier. Check out the pics and you’ll definitely consider Converse for your skate/casual wear line-up. via ctothejl.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday in which you show love to your significant others. Men typically shower their women with bouquets of fresh flowers, exquisite chocolates, cuddly teddy bears, and other Hallmark items. For sneakerheads, giving a pair of kicks isn’t out of the question; we’ve seen so many Valentine’s Day inspired sneakers over the years. Heres a look at the Vans mid-top v2041, like the one we’ve seen in the Vans Chococake Pack. This Mens red-and-white colourway features patent leather, diamond-stitching, and a big ol’ heart on the tongue, perfect for the lovey-dovey holiday. Available at ABC-Mart.

The Nike Air Max T-Zone is a well-cushioned running shoe with classic styling that goes perfect with casual attire. This colourway in particular, is good for blending in and providing a solid foundation for the rest of your wardrobe to shine. No fewer than four shades of grey plus some black means that these are as versatile as they come, and they’re available now from Finish Line.

Nike didn’t make any All Star edition Air Force 1s specifically for women, but here’s a patent leather consolation. This Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low has a sort of un-Pigeon look about it, but it’s a deep navy blue instead of the familiar greys. Still a dope look tho, and another good example of how to throw red, white and blue onto a sneaker without having it come out patrio-cheesy. We wouldn’t knock dudes for rocking these, and DC’s Major has the womens-size run right now.

If you were close enough to see the grain in the floor they’ll be installing in Texas Stadium for the 2010 NBA All Star Game, you’d also see it on these sneakers. Here’s a detailed up-close look at the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ASG edition. Notable for its blue raspberry colourway and aforementioned woodgrain, this is sure to be one of the most highly sought-after AML7s to date. Take a look at over two dozen detailed images after the jump. via Kinstor

Looks like it’s the Hibachi who’s getting chopped into pieces these days. In light of Gilbert Arenas’ guilty plea of the felony gun charges against him, adidas has dropped Arenas from their formidable line of NBA endorsees, which includes Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, T-Mac, and many other notable players. Arenas was considered one of the top endorsees for adidas; he was an emerging star, and his whimsical persona grabbed a considerable amount of attention, both in the sport and in pop-culture, and was thusly granted his own line of signature shoes that included the adidas Zero-G and adidas Gil II Zero. The termination of the adidas contract follows NBA commissioner David Stern’s suspension of Arenas from the league, and at this point, Arenas’ future both as a professional athlete and market icon appears to be in severe jeopardy. Read adidas’ official statement and refresh your memory of some Arenas collaborations after the jump. via USAToday.

We haven’t yet seen an All Star Game PE for Steve Nash, but you know he always gets personalized Nikes. Most recently, it’s been the Nike Cradle Rock Low, but we’ve also seen a sample of a Trash Talk’d Hyperdunk Low. This one is closer to the script, keeping the Hyperdunk’s signature Flywire-equipped side panels. This Nike Hyperdunk Low has purple Flywire strands, plus some orange hits to make these a clear Phoenix PE, probably for road games. Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll update you if Nash is spotted rocking these on-court. via Hoopchina

Nike literally made a name for Cleveland point guard Mo Williams with this shoe. Get your ‘Mo Gotti’ on and peep this unreleased Nike WMNS Hyperize Sample. You can see from the tongue tag that these are a ‘Think Pink’ release, and not made for Williams himself. Instead, they get the inverted pink ribbon insignia in a womens size 9. Grab this sample today from verbdws on eBay.

![air-jordan-1-alpha-black-red[1] Air Jordan Alpha 1 Black Varsity Red White Available](http://images.sneakernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/air-jordan-1-alpha-black-red1-570x320.jpg)
The Air Jordan Alpha 1 was designed with today’s consumer in mind, but kept it true to the Air Jordan roots; the Air Jordan 1 was just the tip of an immense iceberg that re-routed the sneaker and basketball-shoe industry to a whole new course, and the Alpha 1 is here today, giving props to the pair that got it all started, but with a contemporary twist. The perforated toe-box and center panel, plush inner lining, and new Phylon midsole are just some of the new features that make the AJ Alpha 1 worth copping. These have already been seen on the feet of some NBA ballers, but now they could be on yours today by visiting a local Jordan retailer like Foot Locker.

Last but not least in our look at the four ASG Nike Air Force 1s is this Premium hightop. It’s the only one of the pack that doesn’t have a white midsole, but the darker look now matches the Swooshes, strap and laces. You’ll also see that these are the only pair with the logo on the pinky toe area, rather than heel. Subtle, but still shiny in patent leather, they’re available at Rakuten e-mall store, Kinetics.
