For those of you who can fit into smaller shoes, or perhaps have children you like to dress in nice kicks, Nike always has GS sizes in some nice colourways. While these new kids colourway of the Nike Air Force One can pass as a Valentine’s Day Nike variety, the use of pink and shimmering red might be just a coincidence. These feature a clear red sole, a light pink upper with a sparkling patent swoosh, a patent candy red rear panel, and three sets of laces; white, pink, and rainbow, fit for a candy store. It could never happen on the court, of course, but coming in third in the Nike Air Force 1 series for 2010′s NBA All Star Game is the Western Conference red joints.  They’re shiny patent leather with a metallic silver Swoosh on the side panels, plus the Mark Cuban-masterminded logo on each outer heel.  A nice simple compliment to some of the crazier efforts Nike put together for this year’s extravaganza, they’re available at Japanese e-tailer Kinetics.

Next up in our look at the four Nike Air Force 1s for the 2010 NBA All Star Game in Dallas, is the ‘cleanest’ of the bunch.  It’s all white, save the black outsole and metallic silver on the Swoosh and heel tab.  That silver picks up on the upper-right quadrant of this year’s ASG logo, which really stands out on this otherwise simple design.  Like all four of these, they’re available from Kinetics.

Last year’s NBA All Star Game in Phoenix gave DJ Clark Kent some obvious inspiration for the Starks-laced AF1s he designed last year.  For the ‘Ten ASG, Nike’s taking a simpler route and going with four two-toned pairs, one for each shade in the Texas-state ASG logo.  First up is the East model, sporting a team royal and metallic silver patent leather upper.  They also have the white midsole/black outsole combo that two others share.  All four, including this royal blue joint, are available from Kinetics.

Vans has three new colourways of the Vans Sk8 Hi LX that were set aside in their 2010 arsenal. Vans Vault is the brand’s premium line of classic skate shoes, and make no mistake that these suede and canvas uppered Sk8 His rightfully belong in that group. The upper ankle features a diamond-stitched glossy leather, and the Sk8 Hi midsole features a ribbed texture for a twist. Set for a June release, the Clay Red, Black, and Purple models along with a few other colourways will be available at select Vans Vault retailers.

The Nike Tailwind is the oldest Air Max model in Nike’s storied history. Many recognized the Nike Air Max 1 as the first shoe to feature the visible air unit, but it was actually the Tailwind that deserves the credit, as it originally debuted in 1979.  In 1992, the Nike Tailwind returned, and several sequels followed, despite not receiving the popularity and accolades that the Air Max Line did because theTailwind was geared toward performance running rather than urban fashion.

Almost a third of a century after its release, the Nike Tailwind lives on in the form of the Nike Tailwind 2010. It features a truncated full-length air unit, similarly seen on the Nike Air Turbulence. It features a mesh upper with a synthetic support unit and a supportive heel, like on the Air Max 2009. The 2010 Tailwind also seems to be Flywire-free, which certainly separates it from the pack. in addition to this yellow/black colourway, a neon green/black and red/black colourway has also been spotted. Futura is a world-reknown street/graffiti-artist who has a long-standing resume filled with collaborations with Nike. A four-pack of Nike Air Force 1 Lows and Highs aptly titled the “Be True” Air Force 1 pack is set to drop very soon, and the anticipation has been mounting since word first dropped early last year. Here’s a look at Nike Blazer High Supreme that reportedly have been designed by Futura. There hasn’t been any publicity regarding this pair, and there are no apparent trademarks, as Futura customarily leaves his recognizable graffiti font on his Nike designs. However, the intricate jazz art and basketball inspired design leads us to believe that these Blazers were touched by an artist’s hand. We’ll let you know if there’s any clarification behind Futura’s involvement, but if you’re feeling the kicks, you can pick up a pair now at Premium Laces.

The Air Jordan XI is undoubtedly one of the most popular Air Jordan sneakers of all time. When it was first introduced in 1995, consumers were left with their mouths wide open, oohs and aahs leaving their tongues. The Air Jordan XI has caused ridiculous hype and mayhem, as people lined up days before the release of the DMP Air Jordan XI and caused a wreck during Air Jordan XI Space Jam Release.

We’ve already seen the XI innards from the dissected Cool Grey Air Jordan XI Retro, but take a look at this exhumed OG Air Jordan XI in the Black/Red colourway, taken apart layer by layer. Notice the “carbon footprint” on the bottom of the boot, the interesting codes embedded into the outsole, and the crumbling air-unit that’s been scooped out of the midsole. While this autopsy is painful to watch, it sure is interesting to see an original pair go through this process. via nikemania.

Samples we’ve seen of the upcoming Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV are conspicuously NFW, but these latest photos reveal a change.  To be fair, this might be a whole new shoe, since it looks like these might have a Max Air bubble instead of the Soldier line’s traditional Zoom Air cushioning.  Either way makes sense, given the AMLVII’s move to Max cushioning, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all LeBron James shoes.  via HoopChina.

So here’s a new model from Nike we’ve never seen before, the Navaro High.  It’s got that old school basketball/modern skate look, with its vulcanized rubber sole and Blazer-like silhouette.  This particular pair has a fascinating colourway, applying a red splatter around the ankle that gives way to a splotchy tonal grey side panel.  Take a look at more photos after the jump, and if you like what you see, you can find these from mrradtaco on eBay.

A few days back, we got an inside look at how the DJ AM/DJ Premier Rivals Pack came together, courtesy of Nike Sportswear Global Design Director Jesse Leyva and yesterday it was a look into the Air BW Gen II and Nike’s Torch technology.  Today, Leyva takes us even further inside the NSW’s marketing mindset.  A lightbulb might go off in your mind when you hear him describing ‘modular’ design, and how signature elements and their combinations are the very stuff a brand’s identity is made of.  We’ve seen Nike Sportswear produce increasingly high-quality work since its inception about 18 months ago, and I defy you to watch the video after the clip and not expect more excellence to come.  via EUKicks
