adidas’ ZX700 is about as versatile a runner as you’ll find in the Three Stripes catalogue. You can dress it up with premium materials, toss in boat shoe hybridization and/or a Star Wars t.i.e.-in, or just go the simple route and outfit the ZX7 with premium materials. It’s the last one this time out, with this pair adding some grey and white to balance out a LIVESTRONGish colourup. Grab your pair today from Schuh-You.

No, this isn’t an accidental double post. Read carefully and you’ll realize that adidas has done another design for Porsche, this one more reminiscent of the 2008 release. Using the motorsport-influence adidas Sport 1, the colorways may seem just like the TR1′s, however these pairs throw a little more into the mix. With white/silver and tonal black, the seemingly flawless canvases are highlighted by patent stripes and accents. Looking like a typical Diesel shoe, or any other brand making similar silos all them fist-pumpers might fancy, these are probably not going to the catch the eye of your everyday sneakerhead. But for the sports-car fans, this might be a nice collectible. Available now exclusively at JD Sports.

We knew that The Clash were adding their insignias to some Chucks, and the Ramones collabo a couple years back was a no-brainer. But Blondie?! Actually, take a look at the hightop Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars in this collection that’s soon to hit retailers, and you’ll get a sense for how much of what is hot in youth-oriented graphic design today (especially fashion), was inspired and influenced by the early 80s (btw, is that Debbie Harry or a dressed down Lady Gaga?). There are also two lowtop All Stars that will have you thinking of fellow old school punk scene sellout collaborator Malcom McLaren. Just like the Clash kicks, check your local Converse retailers for these today.

A good running shoe should come out of the gates fast. That’s exactly what we’re seeing with the new Nike Air Max Tailwind 2010. First previewed just two weeks back, the Tailwind ‘Ten is already dropping in its third new colourway. This latest edition is a springtime no-brainer for guys, its black, white and blue palette capable of matching pretty much any gear you’ve got. It’s never too late to get on those resolutions, and these joints can help. They’re available from ID4shoes on eBay.

Until now, the most recent animal-printed kicks that looked like Vans, were actually from Keds x Opening Ceremony. With the Animal Pack of Vans Sk8-His, Off the Wall is going primal and taking back the wild look. There’s a subtle air of sophistication because of the rich suede toe and heels, but cheetah and zebra prints on the horsehair side panels are the main attraction at this zoo. These are a Vans Japan release, curiously now available from Dunk.com.cn.

First it was a Nike Dunk Low that could have gone anywhere from ‘Denver Broncos’ to ‘Virginia Cavaliers’, but now here’s another that seems to suggest Nike has a special place in their hearts for Syracuse. The latest Nike Dunk High is as ‘Cuse as they come, rocking a BTTYS-esque orange and white basic colourblock plus royal blue laces. What more can you even say about these; for what they were intended to be, they’re perfect. And not as hard to get as some of Futura’s Syracuse collection, these are available from JBseller on eBay.

Remember when Jason Kidd was at the Peak of his game, he was rocking some sick Nike Basketball shoes? Well the only thing “Peak” about his game is the shoes he’s wearing now. Over the last few months since the start of the ’09-’10 NBA Season, we’ve kept you up to date on what our favorite NBA players were wearing on the court, but lost in the shuffle are other brands that touch the hardwood – not everyone wears Nike or adidas. So it’s only fitting – and necessary – that we show you some of these other brands that are both gaining prominence and fading into “bolivion”, as Mike Tyson once so eloquently orated. AND1, Reebok, Under Armour, Protege, Pony, New Balance, Le Coq Sportif, Converse, and a collection of newer Chinese brands like Li-Ning, Anta, and Peak have made their way on the feet of some notable NBA stars, so check out the in-game photos and tell us what you think. via YahooSports.

The Military Air Jordan 1 Retros were a big hit a couple years back, because earthy colours like this not only help you look kinda ‘mature’, but they’re an easy hookup with plenty of different outfits. Here’s another AJ1 that uses a drab colourway to great effect. This one is mostly olive green aka urban haze, which is a supremely versatile shade. We find it pushed toward yellow with the tongue tag and a gum outsole, so rock these with blues, greys or dark reds for a nice balanced look, or go with yellow, white or green for a springy fit. Any way you hook em up, they’re available from Shaolin8 on eBay.
