Nike isn’t just about kicks; their line of sports apparel is paramount to Nike’s ongoing role as king of the athletic department. The February 2010 Line of Nike SB Apparel isn’t limited to skaters only – check out the Rugby-esque SB P-Rod Wind Anoraks and SB Reversible Bomber Jackets. In addition to the outerwear, there’s plenty of other tops and accessories, like new t-shirts, snap-backs, belts, and SB P-Rod III socks – a big novelty item that released a few years ago. Check out the new gear and watches for these to release soon at Nike SB retailers, alongside the Nike SB February 2010 Footwear Collection. via NikeSB.

Is everybody ready for the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’?! Of course you are, and that’s part of why it makes sense to see the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII (AJF 8 ) appearing now in one of the beloved OG colourways. These have been on the radar now for what seems like forever, but the release date was just confirmed: expect to get the Aqua AJF8 at Jordan Brand retailers including Foot Locker, starting on Saturday, March 6th, 2010, and be sure to check out some more pics after the jump.

Don’t have time to cover your midsoles in vasaline or some such and paint a room or two? No sweat. Nike has you covered for all things splattered, and this latest Big Nike High is among the messiest we’ve seen. These actually look more like bleach dripped onto the green leather upper but this was clearly calculated, as nothing not-green is similarly affected. An upcoming House of Hoops exclusive in the US, these just dropped at Japan’s LTD Online.

With the addition of Dwyane Wade to the Team Jordan, the folks over at Jordan Brand introduced the “W3LCOME HOME” edition of the Air Jordan 2010. Although D-Wade had no ties with JB before 2009, Wade seems to fit right in with the crowd, and he’s already distinguished himself as the marquee member of the Jordan Brand Team (not hard to accomplish with guys like Jared Jeffries on JB). The W3LCOME HOME combination of varsity red and white is very quickly gives you hints of the White/Red Air Jordan XII that Wade wore in-game a week ago, and we should expect an Away colourway of the AJ 2010 soon. He’s already set to debut the Air Jordan 2010 at the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. This also leads us to wonder: Will Jordan Brand use the ‘Flash3′ PE Logo on D-Wade sig shoes? Check out the pics and let us know what you think. via FC.T.

The Nike 6.0 WMNS Dunk High was previewed not too long ago on Sneaker News, and it received a somewhat surprising amount of feedback. Despite it being a women’s colourway, it still got plenty of love from our male readers; a great colourway simply can not be overlooked. The grey sweatpant-like material on the upper and aquatic blue stitching and sole may leave you cursing the day you were born a male. Well, maybe it’s not that serious, but i’ll surely be in the hunt for a size twelve. You can cop these via phone or email order at Extra Butter.

With Kobe Bryant leading the defense of their tenth title, we’re seeing more LA Lakers colourways of sneakers than ever before. Even Jordan Brand, which owes at least some of its very existence to MJ’s vanquishing of the Lake Show back in ’91, has turned to the purple and gold for design inspiration. Here’s a new look from the Swoosh that originally release around the same time, the Nike Auto Force 180. Updated with a vulcanized rubber sole since they were Air Force 180s, this black leather edition with purple and gold accents should be a big hit in Hollywood and abroad. Grab a pair for yourself from 95soleman on eBay.

Here’s a throwback from the 70′s. The adidas Top Ten was a high-top basketball shoe that was released in 1979 and was considered a favorite by a number of NBA pros. Here it is again in 2010, releasing as the adidas Top Ten Hi NBA Edition; it features the white, royal blue, and red NBA logo on the inside face of the tongue, and the white/red/navy colourway does the old-school job quite well. The adidas Top Ten Hi was also a representative of the Star Wars x adidas Originals collaboration, as seen in the Luke Skywalker adidas Top Ten Hi. These NBA Editions are available at Schuh-You.

Jordan Brand is showing us alot of white and silver for their 25th Anniversary this year. A shoe so far ahead of its time that it’s still relevant two decades after release, the Nike Air Max 90 is getting a head start in that direction. This pair mixes greys and (off-) whites in a way that makes the shadow purple mudguard drift further toward grey itself. Cream-coloured suede looks especially lux, so anyone who can fit US womens sizes 5-8.5 should rush over to Caliroots.
