Nike WMNS Air Max 90 Premium White Shadow Purple Grey

Jordan Brand is showing us alot of white and silver for their 25th Anniversary this year.  A shoe so far ahead of its time that it’s still relevant two decades after release, the Nike Air Max 90 is getting a head start in that direction.  This pair mixes greys and (off-) whites in a way that makes the shadow purple mudguard drift further toward grey itself.  Cream-coloured suede looks especially lux, so anyone who can fit US womens sizes 5-8.5 should rush over to Caliroots.

Style: 375572-111
Color: White/Shadow Purple-Grey

Nike Dunk Low Orange Blaze Varsity Royal White

The latest Nike Dunk Low comes at you with a palette resembling two Nike SB legends.  Two kicks that pretty much everybody can agree are hot were 2002′s Danny Supa-designed orange and blues, followed the next year by a reversed ‘Denver Broncos’ look.  This new pair takes up the whole shoe instead of leaving a white underlay, which means it’s pretty much half and half.  Grab a vintage UVA or Syracuse jersey and hit up Extra Butter.

Style: 318019-841
Color: Orange Blaze/Varsity Blue-White

Solebox x New Balance 1500 1 of 1 Samples

Geez, Louise; talk about exclusive. There have been a decent amount of limited releases of all different kinds that are specifically numbered, either in large quantities like the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue, or smaller amounts like the Stash x Nike Air Classic BW. Check out this pair of Solebox x New Balance 1500, numbered 1 of 1. Yes, you are indeed looking at an object that does not exist anywhere else in the world (that we know of), AND yes, they are samples, which takes away from the mystique just a little bit. Apparently New Balance and long-time and frequent collaborator Solebox wanted everyone to know that these were indeed the only pair in existence, based on the billboard of sorts on the tongue. Check out the two colourways that never made it to production. via Eukicks.

Nike Harajuku 11Change Takehiko Inoue Collection

All anime fans out there know that Slam Dunk has been one of the most popular Japanese comic series ever; over 100 million copies sold is proof of that. Nike Harajuku‘s 11Change project was created to give props to the real game-changers of Japanese culture, and Takehiko Inoue, creator of Slam Dunk, was the last of the 11Change, but most definitely not the least. Nike gave Inoue the sneaker of his choice to design at his own will, and with Slam Dunk obviously rooted in the sport of basketball, the Nike Hyperize was his choice. Check out the white and carolina blue colourway with the cartoon Slam Dunk all-over print on the upper and the accompanying t-shirts. Quantity is limited; at just one hundred of each item, scoring a pair of these won’t be an easy bucket. via Freshnessmag.

Nike Dunk Low SB Premium Brian Anderson

One of the trademarks of the Nike SB product line is its affiliation with a select skater from the Nike SB Skate Team. In fact, almost all of the earliest Nike Dunk SB colourways had a name attached to them, like Supa Dunk SB, Mulder Dunk SB, Hunter Forbes Dunk SB, and so on. In 2006, Brian Anderson had his first Nike SB shoe devoted just for him, the high-top, camouflage-ridden, orange-trimmed release of August 2006. Here’s the sophomoric effort of the Nike Dunk SB Brian Anderson album, a pair that was hinted at in the Nike SB Spring 2010 Preview. It features an earthy combination of tan suede, chocolate brown, grey, and red, and comes tongue-unstuffed. These are set to drop soon so we’ll give you the heads up when they officially do. via Shelter.

Nike Dunk High 2010 Olympics Navy Blue

The 2010 Olympic Winter Games begin two weeks from Friday, and you can bank on Nike being aware of this.  Here’s one of two Olympic Nike Dunk Highs you’ll see hitting retailers for February.  If you can see this pair, you can picture both of them, as the other simply switches navy blue and gold areas.  Either would look superb with the typical stuff the Swoosh produces for this humongous stage.  The blue ones are available now from the good folks at Extra Butter, but if you’re not in the NY area, you can pick up a pair from 95soleman on eBay.

Celebrity Feet: Tom Cruise in Nike Air Max LeBron VII

Based on size and, apparently, high-flying ability, we’d expect to see Tom Cruise rocking something straight outta Kryptonate.  On the other hand, when it comes to movie roles and global celebrity, LeBron James is one of the few athletes that can rival Mr. Risky Business.  Here is Mr. Holmes literally stuntin’ on the set of The Hardy Men, emulating MJ on the 100 foot hoop in the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘Piano’.  Oprah’s couch must be far away, cos Cruise needs cables to get there, and he didn’t even care about his attire enough to avoid the huge clash against adidas windbreaker pants.  Maybe Scientology really will unite the world, after all.  via X17

Classics Revisited: Nike Dunk Low co.jp Ultraman

The Nike Dunk Low “Ultraman” released in 1999 when the Nike Dunk, which originally debuted in 1985, was re-introduced in 1998. The Ultraman Dunk Low, named after the Japanese sci-fi-action hero of the 60′s, was a co.jp release (Japan only) and part of the “City Attack” Nike Dunk series which included four simple colourways and accompanying “reverse” renditions. Both pairs of the Nike Dunk Low Ultraman are very rare but the primarily gray version you see above is more commonly referred to as the “Ultraman” due to the fact that it is more common, but by the slightest of margins. Since the original release, the Ultraman Dunk colourway was resurrected in different forms, like a U.S. released Dunk Low that featured a darker grey and red and a white swoosh and a Dunk High SB in the reverse colourway, which represented UNLV in Nike SB’s Be True To Your School Pack of Winter 2005.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV Wear Test Prototype Sample

When you’re sitting at your desk brainstorming, whether its for a history paper or a letter of apology to your neighbor for using his toolshed as an outhouse, there’s always the one “what were you thinking?” bad idea. Next, you crumple up the paper, stick out your tongue MJ-style, and fadeaway-jumper the crumpled paper into the wastebasket. Here’s a look at one of Nike’s scrapped ideas that you might’ve seen before, a supposed sample of the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV. Those were proved to be counterfeits now that we’ve seen actual pics of the Zoom Soldier IV, but the pair you’re looking at right now is an actual factory sample – a Wear Test Sample to be exact – that never quite made it off the cutting room floor. This new find features no Signature logos of any sort, but does look equipped with Lunar Foam and Flywire. Check out the extra pics and let us know what you think, and if you’re feeling them, you can grab this size 13 sample now from lacedheat on eBay.

Nike Air Flightposite II LE Metallic Zinc Black Sample on eBay

You wouldn’t be the only sneakerhead who smacked your head with that can’t-believe-I-didn’t-think-of-that-myself when the copper Nike Air Flightposite One popped up.  Thing is, there was already a copper-ish Posite sneaker, but it was more of a Kevin Garnett signature than Penny Hardaway.  And along with the black version he actually wore on court, this metallic zinc Nike Air Flightposite II LE is set to retro sometime soon.  Pick up this sample pair so you can be the first to wear them, or just put em on ice.  Either way, you can get this sample from verbdws on eBay.

Sneaker Con NYC 2010 on G4s Attack Of The Show

If you didn’t think Sneaker Con NYC 2010 wasn’t big enough, check out this exclusive video which aired Tuesday Night on G4′s “Attack of the Show”, one of the most culturally relevant and entertaining television programs on air today. In addition to live, nationwide publicity, other local media outlets, such as Time Out NY, NBC, and the NY Post sought Sneaker Con NYC for exclusive coverage as it was deemed a hot topic (and rightfully so). The sneaker sub-culture has slowly gained mainstream appeal, and Sneaker Con 2010 is definitely a part of the forward movement. If you were unable to attend, check out the G4 Attack of the Show video or take a look through the event recap – trust me, it’ll be like you were there!
