The Air Max 1 has such perfectly designed tooling that you can create so many variations of a single color palette.  You may think you’ve already seen a pair with this color blocking, but not in this exact layout.  A light grey and purple on suede are a great counter to the routine white mesh.  Pink found for the lining can be considered predictable, but you can’t deny it works well.  What’s rather surprising is the yellow for the top lace eyelet, but somehow is a perfect garnish to the overall look.  Ladies, grab a pair Kasina.  Or you can try your luck holding off and hope someone buys you a pair for V-Day. ::Hint Hint fellas::

It combines the casual/lifestyle design and the comfort of a zoom insole, so you get the fashion aspect without compromising your feet. Check out these new images of the Nike Macropus from the Nike Sportswear 3GX Series we previewed a few weeks ago; the black leather upper with white midsole give these shoes a proper appearance, fit for any occasion. It’s been nearly two years since we last saw new colourways of the Nike Zoom BB II, and in the meantime, we’ve seen a ton of Tony Parker PEs.  Several of those have released at House of Hoops, but his Zoom BB II PE will never see the light of day.  It’s done in a clean mix of white/grey/black that’s enhanced by the shiny patent leather toes and Swooshes.  A must for any diehard Spurs fan or TP completionist, these joints just popped up courtesy of verbDWS on eBay.

In 1990, Nike gave props to Bo Jackson by presenting to him the Nike Trainer SC and the popular slogan “Bo Knows”. Two decades after its release, here’s a new Nike Trainer SC 2010 Package giving props to two athletic juggernauts of our time, Bo Jackson and St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols. Ol’ Al is arguably the best player of the decade, combining power, hitting, defense, and team leadership, and Nike has again recognized greatness by claiming that “Albert Knows” just as Bo did.

Check out the two colourways of the SC 2010, the first inspired the OG colourway of the Trainer SC and the second inspired by the vintage St. Louis Cardinals uni (but also mildly reminiscent of the Beet Red Nike Trainer SC). Bo’s pair features “BO34″ on the heel heel while Albert’s pair features “Albert Knows” in the same location. The box features a faint, dotted image of Bo Jackson at the plate and his famous slogan. Many groaned, moaned, and got their boxers in a bunch when Nike SB started to release some Dunks without a fat tongue, but many of the earlier-season Nike Dunk SB releases didn’t feature them either. Check out the sans-fat tongue Quickstrike Nike Dunk Low SB St. Patty’s Day edition, set to drop on the first of March. It features a green suede upper with what appears to be hemp-like material on the toe, tongue, center panel, and swoosh. An interesting, head-scratching use of color is the midsole portion above the stitching – an aberration to the customarily monochromatic midsole of the Nike Dunk. These will go well with a pint of Guinness or Smithwick’s so keep these on your radar. via Numelo.

Streetwear is less about ‘matching’ than it has been in over a decade, but that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t wanna pair these up with your new Neons.  That’s right, the Nike Air Max 95 Neon just popped up in Europe and Asia, plus there’s an Air Max Modular 95 SI on the way that will also match Major’s latest New Era 59/50.  The key here is that, like the kicks, there’s a bunch of greys, so they kinda blend into the background.  That is, until the lights come out and reflective 3M sections make you turn you into a chrome dome.  This is a hot lid, right down to the stylized ‘major’ insignia on the back.  via FRESHNESS

It’s not likely that this Air Jordan 2010 sample is the ‘window’s answer to NFW, but we’ll enjoy a close-up look anyway.  We saw them first back in October of last year, and as wacky as the transparent window design turned out to be, it’s probably still superiour to a look that’s halfway between a dalmation eye and the AJXIII Playoff Home tongue.  Another case where it’s clear Jordan Brand made the wise choice, you can get a good look at how the AJ2010 came to be, in a bunch of new photos after the jump.  via Kenlu

Certain Nike Dunk SBs command a ridiculous premium in the sneaker market; the more exclusive, the higher the price. Samples or unreleased products are usually atop that heap; the Freddy Krueger Nike Dunk Low SB and the original Gucci Dunk High SB are some examples of kicks that required the buyer to stretch his wallet or spare a pair or two from his collection. Here’s a look another unreleased sample that might have that top-dollar potential.

The number of materials and textures alone tell you that Nike put some extensive thought into this shoe. The interesting netting on the toebox and center panel with reflective 3M on the base, croc-skin on the swoosh, grip-traction on the toe, and embossed polka-dot cushioning on the inner liner give these samples a mechanical, motorcycle-like motif. The logo on the heel is also undecipherable as well. So why didn’t Nike SB release these? Nobody knows for sure. Even the youngest sneakerheads know about Space Jam thanks to this year’s slam dunk of an Air Jordan XI Retro.  How many of them have Marvin the Martian tees by Nike?  When MJ was at the peak of his powers right before that first retirement, he had all kindsa support from the Looney Tunes, including Bugs Bunny himself as a sort of animated Pippen.  Bugs was even better off than Scottie, in the sense that he had his own Air Jordan VIII colourway, some 15 years before collaborations became commonplace.  That OG AJ8 look has been reimagined as the latest Air Jordan Force VIII (AJF 8 ).  Expect them at Jordan Brand retailers including Foot Locker on Saturday, February 6th.

This is one carnivore all you vegans and vegetarians can get down with. Initially released in the early 90′s, the Nike Air Carnivore served as a trainer shoe with enough visual stimulus to knock a herd of angus cattle unconscious. The cross-in-step strap, neoprene sock, and lace-less set-up is so 90s, but the oh-ten could sure use a vintage dose of Nike (can’t believe I just called something from the 90′s “vintage”). The NBA All-Star Game is a collection of the biggest superstars of the league, showcasing their talents throughout the Dunk Contest, Rookie Challenge, the All-Star Game, and other great events. So what’s more fitting than All-Star colourways of the adidas Superstar? Check out adidas‘ side of the All-Star colourway effort – the red colourway for the West and the dark navy blue for the East with a set of red-and-blue “neutral” shoelaces. There’s an interesting logo on the inner liner, but the Texas Basketball logo, seen on the All-Star adidas Supernatural Commander, doesn’t seem to be present.
