Think your shoe game’s on point? Most likely, a comparison to Ric ‘ChiTown Air’ McCallister’s collection would leave you with a bunch of ‘GTFO’ comments. Rick’s stash is over 400 deep and he’s got some real fire in there: all of the Mr. Cartoon-designed Nike Air Force 1s, the entire Chamber of Fear Pack, and all of DJ Clark Kent’s 112 Pack creations. Check out more photos of Chitown Air’s sneaker collection after the jump; the whole interview’s available at SpainKicks.

We recently dropped new images of the upcoming Air Jordan Spiz’ike Infrared, and typical of Spiz’ike-related discussions, the reader response was fifty-fifty. Here are some better detailed images of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Infrared – initially rumored to have been designed by DJ Clark Kent – that might change the opinion of the detractors. The key detail of this pair is obviously the generous use of Infrared on the midsole, but take note of the white-on-white elephant print and the subtle infusion of blue. This upcoming colourway of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike is set for a May 2010 release but are available for pre-order at Kinstor.

The dunks during the 2010 NBA Dunk Contest were easily outshined by the sneakers worn by the contestants, particularly that of Lakers high-flyer Shannon Brown. He wore a sick pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe V iD with a colourway voted in by fans, but had the online voting not occurred, Brown was set to wear the above pictured colourway of the Kobe V PE. At this point, there seems to be no story behind the choice of colors; the turquoise sole, blue midsole, silver/black upper, and red lining have no connection with his Michigan State alma mater, nor do they pay homage to his Lakers team. Actually, it’s a yellow trim short of being an Olympic colourway. On the insole is a message delivered Bill Walton style: “Throw it down, Shannon Brown.” Check out the images after the jump and let us know if you prefer this color over the red/gold Kobe V iD he wore that night. via thegrandioseco.

Fabolous and Raheem Devaughn were amongst the hundreds of attendees at last weekend’s Moët & Chandon Present Seal It With Rose’ Sunday Brunch Hosted by Kenny Burns in Atlanta, Georgia last Sunday. Fab showed up rocking a pair of the Grey and White Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Dons, a colorway that we’ve only seen worn a few times compared to some of the other colorways, specifically the Black colorway. Raheem Devaughn, who also performed at the event, broke out a pair of Spring 2009 Nike ACG inspired Dunk High’s in Purple and Gum. Take a look at some of the pictures from the event after the jump…

Ping Pong may seem like a nonchalant and friendly game, as it is typically played in basements, church tournaments, or other casual settings. It’s actually more than a game; it’s the sport that acted as the glue between the United States and China during the Ping Pong diplomacy period. The long-lived sport is most recognized for the green tables and red/blue paddles used – so adidas decided to infuse the game of Ping Pong into the Superskate Mid by doctoring it up with the appropriate colors. Each gum-bottomed pair comes with a old-school graphic on the tongue with two extra sets of laces and a neat adidas Ping Pong paddle set. Volley for your pair over at Flauge.

The latest Air Jordan Spiz’ike colourway is probably the hottest kids sneaker released so far in 2010. Officially ‘Turbo Green’ and ‘Vivid Pink’, the contrast hits on these Spizikes looks like a bowl of melty dinner mints in Miami. Had the entire shoe been done in those shades, you’d have a garish pink-and-shrink, but notice how adding five or six shades of grey balances the whole thing out. If you can fit into these, do yourself a favor and cop a pair from HighKickz on eBay.

Miami is like an ongoing party; the weather’s always nice, the clubs are always popping, and women are always strolling the beachside. This new Nike WMNS Air Max 1 does a great job at capturing all that Miami has to offer; the lustrous white leather upper with a green-yellow gradient midsole reminiscent of a thirst quenching cocktail on the rocks. The swoosh, branding on the heel, lace eyelets, and tongue tag are all colored in with a tropical green. How can you say no to that? Grab your pair over at Schuh-You.

When the Nike Zoom Kobe V finally hit Nike iD, Kobe fans scrambled to their computers to customize their own personalized pairs, and with a plethora of colors and textures available, the possibilites were endless. Over the last month of the season, we caught some NBA players wearing the Nike Zoom Kobe V but in colourways we’ve never seen before. It’s unclear whether these are just Player Exclusives or if Nike was generous with the iDs, or even if these guys dipped into their own bank accounts and ordered their own pairs, but it is clear that the colourways match the jerseys to a tee. Chris Duhon sports a classic Knicks colourway, while J.R. Smith went the all-yellow “Snakepool” route. Even Phoenix Suns big-man shooter Channing Frye has multiple pairs to call his own. Check out the collection of images and let us know; which Nike Zoom Kobe V PE/iD takes the cake? via Yahoo!.
