Yours truly and my boys spent a lot of our seventh grade year complaining that the Nike Air More Uptempo’s signature ‘AIR’ side panels, weren’t, in fact, filled with air. In retrospect, and especially as more pictures of the new Air Max a Lot hybrid, that shoe was actually quite hard to improve upon. The Nike Air Pippen was released a year later, and gives us an Air-filled upper look. They’re actually just plastic-y waves, but we’re still glad to have them back after a decade. Nike Sportswear retailers including Foot Locker will have these available on May 7th, 2010.

I was tha man so hard back in the day rockin these, so much so, I was at the park wit the G’s, Tha court was there (OUTDOOR), niggahs was hoop talkin’ shit, & forced me on the court, in the white pips. They were never the same, tried to take’em back & they were out, had to get the blk ones, & never saw the white ones again. These & the Gloves, besides all my Mikes’ are my favorite kicks of all time, & Im old.

Man, I just copped the leather edition-tar brown/taupe/white and the Black/white/purple Pippens like these from “The Rack” on Saturday for $59.99 each! Don’t sleep on these spots people…THEY HAVE HEAT!
