New Balance got lucky at COMPASS this year. Their own logo looks quite a bit like the font in place at the trade show in NYC, so if you didn’t know any better, you might think ‘NB’ was where the needle points north. Up in Boston, they put together a FW ’10 collection that looks like they expect things to stay somewhat drab when it gets cold (is it ever going to get warm?).
Looks like the immortal 574 and 576s, the lightweight 320 and 455 are all done in earthy tones with rich materials like canvas and tumbled leather. Can’t forget about the 875 Trail, which perfectly represents the overall theme of this collection.
