There’s probably very little coincidence that the Nike Air Max LeBron VII will be King James’ first sneaker released in a cool grey pack. With the OGs of CG, the Cool Grey Air Jordan XI on the way for this upcoming holiday season, Nike puts even more pressure on LeBron to match Mike by winning a title in his seventh pro season. It’s easy to forget that LeBron is four years younger than MJ was at this point in his NBA career, since his game and kicks are both exceptionally well polished. With these cool grey joints, you could have added pretty much any secondary accent colour to the grey/white base and come back with pure money, but varsity red and royal make perfect sense given the Cavs’ alternate jerseys.
