April means NBA Playoffs, and this year, it also means a slam dunk of a lineup from Jordan Brand. Clockwise from the top-right, you’ve got the ‘Grape’ Jordan Spiz’ike, which actually takes part of the colour scheme of the Air Jordan VIII Aqua, but gets the Grape designation thanks to the predominantly white upper. Speaking of AJVIIIs, how about the Air Jordan Force VIII, which is possibly more appealing in the new white, black and yellow colourway. It’s a clean look and since it’s not directly nicknamed or attached to the Jordan legacy, this AJF8 can stand on its own merit.
Next up is the first-time-as-a-retro Air Jordan 1 Retro KO. This AJKO comes in the OG white/black/red Bulls colourup, plus vintage detailing to enhance the canvas vibe. Last but not least is the top-left pair, an Air Jordan VI Retro that looks like a formalwear shoe, but balls like the Detroit Pistons. If you haven’t already spent your tax refund, it’ll probably be gone by the time these four hit retail shelves along with a whole slew of other JB drops for April.

the grape spiz’ikes look lame. with the perf leather and random ass 23 on the elephant print.
the piston VIs are just ugly.
they should use the white/black-yellow cw on REAL retro VIIIs. not stupid fusions.
and the AJKOs should’nt have the yellowed, vintage soles.
so basically April looks s#!tty.

I am well known for being a hater of the Spiz’pukes… but am NUTS for this CW that most everyone is hating on! I really like the perf that Nike and JB are using. You can change a shoe by texture… and not just color! I do agree with many… the “23″ on the elephant was elemental overkill. Just may be the first pair of Spiz’pukes I pick-up!?!?!?

I’ll be copping the KO’s and thats it, unless they drop more anniversaries. I love 6′s but the Pistons is the only one Im gonna turn down. The next couple months after that are gonna be fire though better 6′s, 2′s, and 9′s my feet gonna be burning up with all the new heat ya dig!!!!!
