Troy Polamalu is best known for his trademark curly hair, but he’s also recognized as one of the best defensive players in the game. Not only to opposing teams know that, so do the Steelers; when Troy went out with an injury early in the foregone 2009 season, Pittsburgh allowed over 23 points a game in Troy’s absence. Polamalu is also recognized by Nike as one of the great athletes of our time, and alongside NFL superstars Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson, Troy Polamalu received his own colourway of the Nike Trainer SC 2010 which features Steeler black and yellow with a floral print on the inner lining and red/blue/white trim to salute Troy’s Samoan descent. On the rear, you will find TROY KNOWS stitched boldly on the heels. Look for these at select Nike retailers worldwide.

Nike should’ve done ACCURATE cultural research before desinging this shoe. Mr.Polamalu is of Samoan ancestery and this shoe has is loaded with things related to Hawaiian culture and nothing to Samoa. Insdie the tounge it says, “Kaha O Koa” which is ‘olelo Hawai’i for mark of a warrior. Damn Nike, get on your sh!t!
