Ever seen a laser-etching machine at work? If you’re anything like me, the closest answer you could honestly reply is a router from middle school shop class. While you were busy carving your mom’s name into a block of wood, there were some special festivities at the Jordan Brand 23/25 Experience during the 2010 NBA All Star Weekend in Dallas. A select few got the chance to bring their own wares to the ‘Elephant printer’, and wouldn’t you know, one of them happened to be the polarizing ‘Peephole’ Air Jordan 2010. It’s interesting to see how they had to cover the plastic sections in aluminum foil to increase reception to prevent them from melting. 15 minutes later, and you’ve got some AJ2010s unlike any we’ll see at retail. NikeTalk member T21D reports dudes were adding the iconic pattern onto iPhones, laptops, other Nikes, you name it. Watch the whole process start to finish after the jump.
