Wale very well might be the most famous sneakerhead in hip-hop right now. Sure, there are guys like DJ Clark Kent, who’s a true OG in both achievement and collection status, but what prominent rapper these days can hold a candle to Wale’s sneakers? Complex just upped the ante on their list of lists, curating a collection of Wale’s Greatest Footwear moments. Most of them are Nikes, of course, but we won’t spoil it for you. Yo sneaker game don’t make a rapper. If you like an artist becase they wear this months heat you’re more naieve than the average hype beast. Wale gonna be auctioning off his kicks when he gets dropped. How many did he sell? 30,000 first week? He wouldn’t even be allowed in the studio if it was the 90s. The competiton back then would have destroyed him.

why everybody so hostile bout Wale and his music? Like really hes not the best but hes better than the current on the spot rapper right now (Gucci Mane) and this thread is just bout his kicks and from what i see his kick game is on another level not because of what he rocks but because of when he rocks it he had those copper foams months before we were even talking about copper foams. And the same goes for the silver 1/2 cents. Whatever you may think of his music you cant just write him off as bland or mundane because his depth is so much more than just some everyday fake G.
