We recently dropped new images of the upcoming Air Jordan Spiz’ike Infrared, and typical of Spiz’ike-related discussions, the reader response was fifty-fifty. Here are some better detailed images of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Infrared that might change the opinion of the detractors. The key detail of this pair is obviously the generous use of Infrared on the midsole, but take note of the white-on-white elephant print and the subtle infusion of blue. man just cus you put ‘infrared’ on something doesn’t make it dope.
i like the black spizikes that just recently dropped and i’m not a spizike hater but the colorblocking is just a mess on these and the patent leather is horrible on this shoe.

I totally understand where JB is going with this Spiz’ike. This Spiz’ike is meant to pay tribute to the Black/Infared and the White/Infrared VI. Notice that instead of the V lace lock used on the other Spiz’ikes they have gone with the VI lace lock. They also added the clear sole to boot.
Each Spiz’ike released this year pays tribute to one of the shoes that make up the overall design. The white pair released in January pays tribute to the III’s. The Bred pair released in February pays tribute to IV’s. The perf grape releasing in April pays tribute to V’s. The ones above the VI’s. Finally in June they will be releasing the Black patent and Stealth Grey which will pay tribute to the XX’s.
Not sure what the meaning is behind the blue, but I’m pretty positive there is some significance behind it.

Those are fly but does anyone else find that the plastic part where the arch support is on the spiz’ike uncomfortable?

The white part of the midsole should be black. And the elephant print should be grey instead of white imo.

@MYKULJORDAN: I def find it uncomfortable on this shoe… But its shoe to shoe though. My white and cements have a good arch support. My black, red and cements are a funny cut, and the arch support in my right foot is too tall… Already wore them out so I can’t exchange them… I guess thats the premium we pay for… I did cop a fresh pair of white leather hi-top Chuck Taylors though…
The colorway in this article is broken.
Nike/JB won’t get any more of my money until the Air Carnivores release this summer. Peace.

These shoes are horrible in my opinion. Definitely too much going with all the colors. There’s no flow just a lot of clashing.

i like them, something a little more unique looking. i passed on the breds… and from the looks of my local foot locker/eastbay, everyone else did too. 175 is pretty much not getting it done anymore. drop it ten bucks and it looks so much more approachable.

i understand exactly what Steelo Brown sed there are actually gud kicks nd if u can takr ghud care of them tha nettin wldnt turn yellow since it is black, there is betta spizikes but there are fire …im coppin 4 sure

Going by steelo browns theory the VI’s did drop a white and september blue cw. I agree the blue does throw it off they should have just used infared instead of blue.

They use infrared on these but not on the fucking 6′s that came out and upcoming 6′s? wtf?!
