NBA Feet: Tracy McGrady adidas TS Supernatural Creator Knicks Home PE

No more than a week ago, the thought of a Tracy McGrady PE was downright laughable.  T-Mac will go down as one of the best scorers in this era, but his knees are made of glass and he’s not known to be such a great playoff performer.  He made a good showing in Saturday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, dropping 26 in his MSG home debut in the adidas TS Supernatural Creator.

The Knicks blew a late lead (duh) to Kevin Durant and crew, but with McGrady’s debut markedly stronger than Antawn Jamison’s in Cleveland, and McGrady openly saying he’ll take less money next year to stay and play with a guy like LeBron and/or D-Wade, we could have a massive collection of hot PEs from every brand in New York.  Stick with Sneaker News for the best NBA Player Exclusives.  Photos via Yahoo!

Nike Air Total Max Uptempo Black Pale Blue June 2010

Over the last year or so, some new life has been given to the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo thanks to the re-release of some new and OG colorways. While the model already enjoyed a loyal but modest following, the Total Max Uptempo seems to be one of those older models that finally gets it due respect as a Retro release, with many who slept on the shoe now gaining a new appreciation for it. A little while back, we saw a simple Black/Varsity Red colorway and now we take a look forward at a very fresh Black/Pale Blue version that will be hitting retailers this June. With a crisp color scheme and some nice leather, these should continue to boost the profile of this b-ball blast from the past. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Reebok Pump Omni Lite Kubrick Pack

Picking up where the ‘Full Metallic Jacket’ New Balance super-collab with madhectic, Stussy and Undefeated left off, here’s the new Kubrick Pack of Reebok Pump Omni Lites.  A black and red pair does a great job of conveying the feel of certain parts of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 (the theme was/is Ric Flair’s theme song), while the Full Metal Jacket joints are decidedly less intense than their violent inspiration.  Don’t shoot yourself in the head if you can’t get these; they’re limited and we’ll keep you posted on a possible stateside release, as they just dropped at Japan’s Gettry.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Dunkman Available

Forget about his Cavaliers’ three game losing streak; LeBron James’ ‘Dunkman’ kicks are on an undefeated streak.  Cleveland will adjust to new forward Antawn Jamison soon enough, but you can get your hands on the new Nike Air Max LeBron VII in black with neon accents even sooner.  Like now.  Like, as soon as you catch up on Sneaker News, you better hurry up and get to a good Nike Basketball retailer like Atmos NYC.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid GS Anthracite Italy Blue Available

Sometimes a great colourway can’t be overlooked, even if it’s on a shoe that might not be adored by the majority. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid has it’s detractors, but there’s not a single thing you can take away from the combination of colors seen here. Black, grey, and bone/eggshell with an Italy blue swoosh and contrast stitching is a mix of tones that’ll work on ANY model. At quick glance, the University Blue Air Jordan V (5) Retro comes to mind – a shoe with a colourway unrelated to Air Jordan but resulting in success. Grab yours today from e-seller steptorun on eBay.

Nike Air Wildwood ACG Dark Cinder Total Orange Available

The Nike Wildwood is a classic Nike design that’s seen some interesting color-blocking in the past; most recently the Neon Air Max 95 inspired Wildwood colourway released, and last summer we saw the ACG Trail-runner in a myriad of neon hues in the Nike ACG ildwood Urban Nights. Here’s a new colourway that is obviously more fitting for all-conditions use; the dark cinder and orange are great, naturally-occuring colors that’ll blend well in the forest or trail. You can grab your pair from steptorun on eBay.

Nike Zoom Breathe 2K10 White Black

It’s been a while since a legitimate tennis shoe was deemed “rockable” – that age is far gone. The new Nike Zoom Breathe 2K10 might not be a street-shoe, but it’s without a doubt one of the better tennis-shoe designs in a while; it features a Drag-On cage above lightweight mesh for breathability and comfort with Lunarlite and Nike Zoom for cushioning. The low-to-the-ground feel is a huge plus for tennis players, making the Nike Zoom Breathe 2K10 a better performance option than, say, a Nike Air Tech Challenge Retro. These should hit the states soon, but grab your pair now from Japanese e-store shop34078581.

Vans Classics Old Skool Spring 2010 Collection

If you thought the Chambray Pack were the only Vans Old Skools on the way for spring 2010, 1) you were wrong and 2) don’t you realize they’ve been making this shoe for well over 30 years now?!  We counted six other pairs in sets of two that each exemplify a certain staple of Vans design: premium suedes and leathers, bright colours, and checkerboards (plus one white-on-white ‘bonus’ pair).  It’s quite a nice set this time out, so be sure to click the jump below for more photos and check your local Vans Classics retailer for the Old Skools.  via FNG

A Bathing Ape Bape Sta Mid Doc Marten Inspired Spring/Summer 2010

A Bathing Ape has been notorious for their unabashed use of established ideas and media icons for their line of footwear and apparel – the Nike Air Force 1 silhouette being the first that comes to mind. This time the crew over at the Bape camp decided to combine the AF1 Mid with another classic that was the Euro-rocker craze of the 70s (and later on the feet of high-schoolers in the 90s). Check out this trio of new colourways of the Bape Sta Mid, inspired by the Doc Marten boot; the yellow stitching on the midsole and deep and rich-colored leather uppers being the points of interest. Each pair has a elongated height-wise heel-tab that spans the entire rear of the shoe, reading ‘APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE’. These are available now at select A Bathing Ape stores now. via HB.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Black White

It’s gonna get warmer soon and everyone’s gonna break out their white-on-whites, so what’s the best way to stand out?  How about making your whites look even brighter as contrast hits on an otherwise black Nike Air Force 1 Low.  This one features buttery smooth black leather on the upper and a translucent outsole with a smokey look.  Another piece of evidence that simple is best, these just popped up at Nike Sportswear retailers like Schuh-You.
