Gourmet was quiet in ’09 but in 2010 the footwear brand has definitely pumped up the volume. Just yesterday we showed you a video interview with John Buscemi, one of the founders of Gourmet, and now we have detailed images of the Gourmet Spring 2010 Collection. In the Spring line-up are two new colourways of the Quindici in a canvas upper, the Cinque in a grey, and the Quadici, which features a lower-cut duck-boot design similar to the Nike Woodside Boot. Check out the images after the jump and we’ll let you know when these will become available. via MK.

Despite one of the snowiest winters in recent memory feeling like it could last forever, warm weather is rigth around the corner. If you happen to be an Uptown kinda guy/gal, you know exactly what that means: new white Nike Air Force 1s. Today, we get a look at two classically styled two-tone AF1 Lows. Both are mostly white with a single accent colour, so you can choose club purple or pine green. Neither accent shade is particularly ‘springy’, but the balance with all that white will have you hunting around to grab these for your basket. Look no further; SneakersNStuff has both pairs in stock today.

Russian-born, NYC-based artist SSUR was delivering what looked like it was going to be an annual release for the DC Artists Project Series, but a 2009 version simply never made it out of the box. Here are two new pairs that just showed up the Project LV show in Las Vegas. This ‘Caviar Cartel’ collection finds its nearly bred colourups inspired by black market caviar trade and the Soviet iron curtain, respectively. A step in a new direction for this ongoing collab, stick with Sneaker News for updates on high-profile DC Shoes releases. via HS

Hindsight is 20/20. Nobody would’ve guessed that the man traded away for a bearded, flopping, 7-foot-plus Yugoslavian would turn out to be one of the greatest players in the history of the game. Then again, Kobe Bryant didn’t really make it easy for Bob Bass (the Hornets’ GM at the time) because the rookie already had a bit of diva in him at age 17; Kobe deemed playing for the Hornets “an impossibility”. As they say, the rest is history; the four-time champ has a “Draft Day” colourway of his Kobes in the OG Charlotte Hornets colourway, either giving props or laughing in the face of the team that originally drafted him in that star-studded ’96 draft. Sneaker News previewed these ZKVs not too long ago so check out these new pics and make note of the different colored tongue. These are set for a May 2010 release but stay tuned for an exact release date. via FLUL.

Last weekend was Foampositively the biggest release weekend of 2010 (Coppers, Air Jordan 2010, Silver Anniversary 1). As we saw in our Copper Foamposite Release Recap, many waited eagerly in line for the penny-colored kicks that caused quite an anticipatory stir in 2009. Not much earlier, another pair of Foams was a big name in ’09; the Eggplant Foamposite One that made Sneaker News’ Top 30 Sneakers of 2009. News of a re-release was reported earlier this year, and now we have learned the Nike Foamposite One Eggplant will officially drop at House of Hoops and select Footlocker locations on March 6th, 2010. Hopefully there won’t be any confusion with the release like there was for Copper Foams, but be advised to mark your calendars for the date. via FLUL.

New images of the second official colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 have surfaced. This Black and University Blue colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 looks to be more appealing than the first colorway in Black, Varsity Red, and White. The all Black upper of this colorway is accented with hits of University Blue on the shoe’s tongue, lining, and outsole. The upper is made up of smooth suede and a signature Jordan material, patent leather, used on the toe and heel. While a US release is imminent in the next couple of months, no official release date has been communicated, however various Asian retailers have released this colorway including Kasina.

We saw previews of these a while back, and there haven’t been many other colourways released since then. But the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 is back for ’1-0 in a Sprite-like palette that is sure to get alot of attention this spring. The mix of white leather and nylon should keep your feet cool, and the blue and green accent hits would compliment a wide variety of warm-weather styles. Nice stuff from Nike Sportswear, these just became available from shaolin8 on eBay.

The Nike Air Max 90 Infrared has already been scheduled for a 2010 release, but here’s another upcoming colourway that follows the same color template as the iconic AM90 that was part of the History of Air Pack of 2005. Taking place of the Infrared color is a mint/turquoise perfect for the warmer seasons. The upper consists of a light grey nubuck with white mesh toes and a black leather mudguard, all of which are evident in the Infrareds. These are set for the Spring/Summer season, along with a number of other great Air Max releases, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll let you know when these drop. via SF.

One of the best original designs from adidas in years popped up in some new colourways at the Project show out in Las Vegas. Fittingly a part of the adidas Originals lineup, this run of Fortitude Mids expands on the promise we saw in the first few editions of this bootish lifestyle sneaker. Each pair is two toned, adding an accent colour to compliment a mostly monochromatic upper. Navy/orange, grey/orange and black/neon pairs each have their own appeal, so check out more photos of each after the jump. via HS

Is it possible that as we come to really integrate and understand the whole steroid era of baseball, that Ken Griffey Jr. will become even more appreciated and respected? One thing we can say for sure is that his kicks are sure to get another heaping helping of acclaim, thanks to one of the sickest colourways on any sneaker in a good while.
This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has had dudes going nuts since photos leaked last year, and with spring training right around the corner, let’s get ready with this quintessentially-mid-’90s trainer. The grey and turquoise colourway is one of the most versatile you’ll ever see, but will you be able to even get them? A Quickstrike hits on Saturday, February 20th, but a number of pairs just popped up for the early birds, courtesy of shaolin8 on eBay.

Here’s a twist befitting the shoe’s theme: Nike is finally giving the general public access to its annual Black History Month Air Force 1s. The Swoosh has been commemorating BHM with an AF1 for years now, but none of those versions ever made retail. That makes those more valuable to the lucky few who were given a pair, and makes the 2010 Black History Month Nike Air Force 1 Low a must-buy.
They strongly resemble last year’s pair, turning the laser etching machine to enscribe “The definition of a renaissance individual.” This is an interesting design even without the anticipation, but since they’ve been years in the making, you better make arrangements to cop a pair when they hit at limited Nike Sportswear retailers tomorrow, Thursday, February 18th. Click the jump below for more photos and a list of retailers.

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury was the next chapter of the Reebok Pump series and gained an incredible cult following. The Insta Pump Fury was a combination of two radical ideas; the next-gen Reebok Pump system and an insane, ostentiatiously futuristic design. This latest pair is a product of an atmos x Reebok collaboration; the upper is a mixture of nylon and patent leather with the multi-colored and textured midsole and electric blue liner. Fans of the ‘bok, stick with Sneaker News for release info. via atmos.
