Thursday’s History of Nike Air article on Sneaker News should’ve touched your nostalgic bone to some degree; it definitely got me thinking about my favorite Air Max runners from the 90s. The Nike Air Max Triax 94 was sandwiched inbetween the iconic Air Max 93 and game-changing Air Max 95, but how the Triax 94 stands out is the combination of retro-Nike runner styling and the visible Air Max unit. The Nike Air Max Triax 94 returned last year with a bang and in 2010, this new Neptune Blue and Neon colourway should be on the must-cop lists for true Air Max fans. These are available now at Wish.

Not too long ago Sneaker News previewed a pair of Nike WMNS Air Max 90 in a great color combination of blue, pink, and white. That pair was just one of the many great Air Max colourways releasing in 2010. As usual, with such classic Air Max models like the Nike Air Max 90, simple colourways (and white midsoles) result in happy customers. If you liked what you saw, you can grab a pair from reputable seller id4shoes on eBay.

The latest in the James Bond for David Beckham x adidas Originals Collaboration is of the Rod Laver Super, one of the flagship models of the entire adidas Empire. This version of the Laver features a chunkier sole than the vintage lower-profile version. The adidas Rod Laver is a certified favorite among adidas lovers worldwide – it’s easily one of the highest selling tennis shoes in the history of the footwear industry. Given Beckham’s A-List celebrity status, you’d expect something a bit more…glammed up, but this colourway of simple navy, red, beige, and white should see no complaints from OGs. You can grab these now at CrookedTongues.

The Jordan 1 Fund sounds like a charity of some sort, but it’s actually one of the latest productions to come out of Jordan Brand for its Team Jordan line. Sneaker News previewed two colourways of the Jordan 1 Fund a few days back, and now a third colourway with a familiar fan-friendly design cue has arrived. If you haven’t noticed yet, check out the speckled midsole more colloquially referred to as ‘Cement’ or ‘Oreo’. Another detail is a fully visible Air Max unit, a true rarity for Jordan Brand models. If you like what you see, head on over to Finishline to pick up your pair, and don’t forget to read on for a handy coupon that will save you cash for any Finishline purchase.

The Nike Challenger embodies the entire retro movement in one shoe using popular materials from the past; mesh on the toe, nylon on the sides, and a weather suede to complete the faux from-a-box-in-the-attic feel. It bears a strong resemblance to both the Nike Air Pegasus ’83 and the Nike Waffle Racer with the side profile and toe guard. Two new colourways were introduced in 2010, one in black and vibrant blue and the other in a dark grey and eye-catching volt. Both pairs are available for purchase at SNS.

Just over a week ago we dropped some images of a Nike WMNS Air Max 90 that was met with a ton of praise. When it comes to basic color-blocking on ANY of the classic Air Max models, Nike is flat out unbeatable. The cool mint colourway deliver what its name suggest; a refreshing and casual colourway that carries on the unmistakeable color-blocking. Upon closer investigation, the swoosh is actually completely clear, grabbing the light-grey tone of the suede behind it. Finding a size 12 might be tough, but some good sizes are available for the ladies and those with smaller feet over at SNS.

With the Nike SB Dunk socks, it’s always been the other way around, but Omar Salazar’s actually beat his signature shoe to retail. Two colours of Nike SB Omar Salazar socks have released at select retailers, sneaking past the Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model onto hooks at local skateshops. The black pair almost looks like argyle, but looking at the neon yellow joints makes it more than obvious that the criss-crossing lines represent the Salazar’s Flywire-equipped heel. Get ready for the first Flywire equipped skate shoe ever and cop these socks from Flatspot.
