We got a look earlier at the Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary shoes and UNC Tar Heels uniforms. Let’s take a closer look at the North Carolina getups and see how Jordan Brand’s other two schools are commemorating a quarter century of Air. The day following UNC’s February 24th show-off against Florida State, Cal will take the court against Nike mainstay Arizona. The Golden Bears‘ unis and pre-game shooting jackets will be blanked out just like the Tar Heels’, as will Georgetown’s two days later on the 27th against Notre Dame. With March Madness right around the corner, stick with Sneaker News for the latest in NCAA player exclusives, and keep reading for a closer look at the Jordan Silver Anniversary college uniforms and Air Jordan 2010 after the jump.

Dwyane Wade wearing a metallic silver Air Jordan 2010 on the way to MVP honors in the 2010 NBA All Star Game won’t be the last national telecast for those kicks. Earlier tonight, one of Jordan Brand‘s flagship universities broke out the silver AJ2010 with matching silver and white alternate uniforms to commemorate 25 years of Air Jordan brilliance. For the North Carolina Tar Heels, the switch is a natural fit, since the Air Jordan 2010′s feature just a hint of the University Blue insole peeking out of the inner windows. These jerseys are done in the current UNC style, while the other recent Jordan Brand Silver Anniversary Tar Heels jersey was done in a circa-’84 look. Have a look at some of the hottest North Carolina jerseys ever, along with the accompanying shooting jacket and Silver Anniversary AJ2010s, all after the jump.

Michael Jordan wore number 9 to Olympic gold medals in the 1984 and 1992 games. ’92s Dream Team is probably the single most memorable, and certainly the most dominant group in all of team sports. Will we say the same about the Air Jordan Flight 9? A combination of aesthetic jumpoffs from shoes he wore in the earlier part of the span between those two Olympiads, these Fall ’10 Flight 9s add eBay Olympic coloured accents to an all back upper. There’s also another pair with white in place of black on the way, which begs the question: can you see yourself in this new high-contrast Flight 9 design?

The last few days have been heaven for fans of Air Jordan Player Exclusives; we saw one worn by Jordan’s son and another worn by the man himself. Taking it down a notch but still worthy of a few gasps is the Air Jordan V Shawn Marion Away PE, in black, orange, and purple. It’s the obvious antithesis to yesterday’s Air Jordan V Shawn Marion Home PE; black engulfs the upper to complete the Away look, and Marion’s 31 stitched onto the heel and the orange-speckled purple shark’s teeth are details to take note of (and envy). This pair was obviously maintained well, as the clear netting and bottom sole are absolutely iced out. Read on for more images. via Kenlu.

Last month we showed you some preview images of the Nike SB Dunk Low St. Patty’s Day Quickstrike. Already popping up at a Nike SB retailer in Mexico, we can expect these to drop stateside in March 2010, but you knew that already, so here are some additional images with newer angles of the Patty’s for you go get a better picture and a look at the skinny green laces. The green suede and hemp-like material on the toe and swoosh make up the upper with a red NIKE label on the rear – very much like the Dunk SB Heineken. A special graphic of what appears to be a tuft of green grass is also evident on the insoles. Watch for these to drop at your Nike SB spot soon. via N-SB.

With springtime rapidly approaching, it’s time to get your sandal game in order. In all seriousness, you probably don’t collect sandals like real Jordans and we typically don’t see many here on Sneaker News. But just peep the name Jordan Hydro VI, and you can see that this is a popular model for over half a decade now. The Hydro VIs incorporate the fuzzy, encircled Jumpman made famous on the Air Jordan VIII, this pair particularly resembling the OG True Reds. As long as you promise not to wear these with socks, you can grab a pair today from vandammage81 on eBay.

Wale very well might be the most famous sneakerhead in hip-hop right now. Sure, there are guys like DJ Clark Kent, who’s a true OG in both achievement and collection status, but what prominent rapper these days can hold a candle to Wale’s sneakers? Complex just upped the ante on their list of lists, curating a collection of Wale’s Greatest Footwear moments. Most of them are Nikes, of course, but we won’t spoil it for you. Check out some pics after the jump, and you can check out the whole list at Complex.com.

The adidas Originals OT-Tech Pack marches on with anothe high-contrast release. Like all the pairs we’ve seen so far, this adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s CF combines black, white and royal blue in a way that’s decidedly un-’panda’. Adding white on the velcro straps of an otherwise monochromatic black leather upper means this could be the first time you do a double take on some old man shoes. Wisdom dictates you check your local adidas Originals retailer, as these just touched down at Japan’s mita sneakers.

Before this year, ‘Air Jordan icons’ could have included the Jumpman, Wings logos, or any of the unmistakable silhouettes that have made up a quarter-century of hangtime. As of 2010, though, the Air Jordan Icons is a new team model that incorporates design elements from Jays XX and XX3 into one aggressive design. These first two colourways could probably go with about half of all teams’ jerseys, as you’re getting a black Chicago-style palette and another pair in white and navy. Grab one or both pairs today from Jordan Brand retailers like Finish Line.

Japan’s Kazuki Kuraishi has a huge capsule of stuff for adidas Originals, some of which is also a collaboration with other brands. His team-up with Clot is garnering attention for it’s ‘Breathe’-able upper, and with these the material choice is also key. This adidas Originals Campus ’80s has KZK get up with Tokyo’s DJ Mintos on a supremely supple grey pigskin upper. Hard to remember a time when a grey, black and white shoe (with just a touch of gold) was this exciting to look at, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for their mid-March release. via HS
