The four-headed monster of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Mark Parker, and Mark Smith teamed up to produce a pair of shoes that would leave us speechless and struggling for breath or even a coherent thought. It’s happened time and time again, and the Nike HTM2 Run Boot High only furthers that trend. The Run Boot High is a futuristic take on the classic Chelsea boot, featuring pull-tabs and elastic ankle for wearing, but adds Nike’s sport touch with the Free grooved sole and protective rubberized toe. The Nike HTM2 Run Boot High is a Tier Zero release meaning getting a pair will be rather tricky, but a number of samples of the HTM2 Run Boot High in good sizes have appeared for sale from crazyforsneaker on eBay.

James Bond used its name for a totally new design in David Beckham’s adidas Originals line, but what about the OG Gazelle? Glad you asked. It’s here, looking better than ever in red suede. That material always looks good with white contrast hits, and the vintage sole discolouration adds some depth. Toss in the gold leaf print and these have the look of a shoe you might have seen the last time Canada hosted the Olympics. Grab this hot new colour for your springtime fits, now available from Caliroots.

Sneaker News’ ongoing NBA Feet column has showcased a ton of dope Air Jordan XII PEs in recent weeks. From traditional to totally new colourways, the Twelves are at the top of the NBA’s retro power rankings. Offering a sizeable challenge is the Air Jordan Icons hybrid, seen here in PEs worn by Charlotte Bobcats guard DJ Augustin and Boston Celtics sharpshooter Ray Allen.
DJ’s are pretty close to the Cool Grey AJ16.5s, while an all-green pair like the ones J.Shuttlesworth is wearing whilst T-Mac ‘defends’, are pretty much HoH-or-bust. Enjoy more photos after the jump, and keep it locked to Sneaker News for the latest in NBA player exclusives from Jordan Brand.

Queens-born DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill fame has collaborated with Undefeated to produce a commercial that definitely racks up the cool points; Muggs is seen doing what he does best while wearing a classic Undefeated logo hoodie with his moniker printed on the back. The ‘Soul Assassin’ proposes a profound rhetorical question and gives us the answer with a serious of his own suggestions. Who are we to disagree with the man with such a storied resume? Check out the video after the jump and find out hear what the legendary DJ Muggs has to say.

New Balance has been praised by the public for its ethical manufacturing methods and willingness to open its doors to those who want to get a deeper look inside. Other companies are rather secretive about how they operate whereas New Balance offers video footage of their factory, like the one brought to us by Hanon last month. In an increased effort to the brand a part of everyday routine, New Balance has launched the New Balance 365 project with the goal to engage consumers on a daily basis, making “the balance” a routine thought.
Beginning on February 22nd, New Balance, in collaboration with film director Jesper Kouthoofd and Lifestyle agency Mother New York, will release one twenty-second video every day for the entire year, each video previewing a New Balance silhouette that is set for a Spring/Summer 2010 release. Following the preview of the shoe is information regarding retail availability and pricing. Each video was produced with a message of “balance”, portrayed intriguingly in numerous ways, like climbing a man-made New Balance mountain, or two banjoists dueling over a song. There is also an iPhone app to make the New Balance 365 Project easier to access. Check out the video and images after the jump.

Bo Jackson was a natural choice to spearhead Nike’s original cross-training campaigns. Who’s the new face of Nike Training? You could easily argue that’s 7-class champion boxer Manny Pacquiao, whose Lights Out Trainer 1 was one of the hottest shoes of 2009. Here, we get a glimpse at the upcoming Pac Man PE for the Nike Trainer SC 2010. It’s adorned in the flag colours from Pacquiao’s native Philippines, plus splashes of gold cos this guy is clearly tops in the fight game right now. This pair is set for a March release, so take a look at more photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Manny Pacquiao Nike Trainers. via NT

February has been a good month for the Ransom x adidas Originals collaboration. To be more precise, it was great week, as we saw a number of adidas Originals done by Ransom – Bluff, Valley Low, and Valley High. Next up to bat is the adidas Originals Creek, a mid-top loafer using ballistic nylon and leather on the upper with a Ransom label on the tongue resulting in a pair that’d gel seamlessly with a some premium denim or a nice pair of weekend khakis. Two great colourways will be available – one tan and the other a black/blue combo, so expect these at your adidas Originals retailer soon. via glltn.

A strong argument can be made for LeBron James staying in Ohio once his contract is up just a few months from now. He has strong ties to his hometown, evidenced by a number of Nike LeBron colourways for Ohio-based academic institutions. Here are some newer images of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) University of Akron colourway featuring a navy upper and gold trim with the Akron mascot logo on the inner achilles. This is the third LeBron shoe with Akron colourways (the LeBron VI and LeBron Soldier III being the others) but how many more will release might be contingent upon which court King James chooses to rule. The Akron LeBron VII will release this Saturday, February 27th, at the Foot Locker House of Hoops. Don’t forget to check out LeBron VII Release Dates page! via NL.

Here’s a shoe to compliment your upcoming Easter egg hunts. The Nike Lunar Woven Chukka is a curious combination of design elements whose crazy multicoloured upper conveys the feeling behind its silhouette’s design. From a distance, it almost looks like a springy plaid, but get close and notice that there are primary colours plus a few shades of extra brown tossed in there. This all-or-nothing design will be extremely limited, releasing as an Asia exclusive through SOPH.SHOP, Parco and Isetan at the end of next month.

As a Knicks fan, it was hard to say good-bye but it had to be done. Three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion Nate Robinson made his Celtics debut last night against (who else) the New York Knicks, the team that traded him away, and he made quite an impression on the sneaker world with his first-game kicks. Check out lil man Nate rocking all-white Nike Air Max2 CB 94, a pair of kicks he favored during his college days. Nate Robinson, a sneakerhead himself, has been seen wearing some nice kicks on court (and off court – remember Nate wearing Yeezys); these CB94s are a nice addition to his in-game arsenal, and he can now wear all green sneakers he wants without waiting for St. Patrick’s Day or transforming into Kryptonate. Check out the images after the jump. via Yahoo!.
