adidas Forum Mid OT Tech Pack

So far, the adidas A.039 Collection has featured very little of the royal blue shade for which it was named.  This new adidas Forum Mid from the OT-Tech Pack would be a welcome addition to that or any other collection, with its blue hits really shining on this pair.  They explode from an otherwise black upper that finds another high-contrast mate in the white sole.  Very interesting ‘panda’-like look here, and they’re available from Schuh-You.

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low Dark Army Birch

Just because it’s a woman’s colourway, doesn’t mean it has to use the stereotypical woman’s colors. Check out this new Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low in Dark Army/Birch. The masculine color aptly named ‘dark army’ covers the upper, with birch (a light beige) taking part in the laces, bottom sole, and patent leather swoosh. We’ve seen our fair share of hot pink and baby blue on men’s kicks, so no double standard here. You can purchase this pair of the Nike Air Force 1 from overseas retailer Dunk.

Nike Air Max 90 Orange Blaze White AvailableHolland.  Netherlands.  Dutch.  All of these describe a bunch of the orange and white Nikes we’ve seen this spring, but none of them is accurate when discussing this new Air Max 90.  They sure do bear more than a passing resemblance to Dutch artist Delta’s Nike Sportswear Six Pack, but these AM90s are a little more affordable and easier to get than his Air Classic BW Gen IIs.  The two-toned Air Max 90s just popped up at Finish Line.

Alife Public Naval Leather Pack

Here’s the latest sneaker simulacrae from the boys over on Rivington St.  The ALIFE Public Naval is somewhere in between the Vans Era and Slip-On models, going with the familiar pimsoll upper, but using faux eyelets and a elasticized tongue.  They look particularly nice with leather uppers, atop a white sole that has red caps on the heels, and should feel great thanks to cork insoles.  You can get either a black or white pair from ALIFE retailers soon; they just hit Japan’s Flauge.

Air Jordan 2010 Playground Outdoor Fall 2010 New Images

Just looking at these toes, you know the shoe they start is ready for war.  The Air Jordan 2010 Playground Outdoor has what it takes to dominate the blacktop.  The AJ2010 Playground Outdoor’s signature toe panel is perforated, revealing another layer, so that makes three on the very front section you’re sure to roll up on during a pivot.  Criss crossing straps keep your foot in place and remind us of why some people used to say the Nike Air Raid was just an outdoor Air Jordan VIII (or vice-versa).  There’s an Oak Hill coloured pair plus one in Chicago colours, both of which should hit sometime after July of this year.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates on the first ever inline Air Jordan Outdoor sneaker.

Air Jordan XVII (17) Low Signed by Michael Jordan

Just yesterday we showed you a pair of the Game-worn Air Jordan XVII Low that was used by the Airness himself and an Air Jordan XVII PE worn by Jordan’s son. Equally mind-blowing is this pair of the Air Jordan XVII Low in the Black/Chrome colourway SIGNED by Michael Jordan. The autograph is surely the validating piece of memorabilia for any true fan, and to be in possession of Jordan’s John Hancock on a pair of his signature shoe is a true sign that your memorabilia game is on point. Check out the images after the jump and don’t forget to peep the side-profile of the shoes; you can definitely see the “Aston Martin” that was the inspiration behind the Air Jordan XVII. via Kenlu.

Nike HTM2 Run Boot Sample Available on eBay

The Nike HTM2 Run Boot arrived in Japan this past Saturday and is set for a March launch at NSW 21 Mercer. Being a Tier Zero release, getting pair of the Fujiwara-Hatfield-Parker-Smith designed shoes will be easier said than done. That is, unless you don’t mind dropping the dough on a sample. Check out this sample of the Nike HTM2 Run Boot in the black colourway; if you’ve been following our Run Boot coverage closely, you’ll be quick to recognize that the HTM2 logo on the heel is completely different than the one in the final production version. We also get a better look what the insole could possibly look at. Check out the pics after the jump and visit the auction by crazyforsneaker on eBay.

Nike 6.0 Mavrk Mid 2 Available on Nike iD

Although we’ve already seen some pretty fresh colorways of the Nike 6.0 Mavrk Mid 2, the model still seems to be flying under the radar. The Nike 6.0 line has been coming strong lately, building some nice buzz for one of Nike’s more underappreciated offshoots with the Mavrk 2 model helping to lead the charge. The shoe’s design sports a simple skate shoe look with a little Blazer flavor thrown in for good measure, making this a very versatile model ready for street wear or the performance demands of extreme sports.

Thanks to the wonders of Nike iD, you can now create your own Mavrk Mid 2 using a nice variety of materials, patterns and colors that can be applied to virtually every panel of the shoe, giving customizers a chance to really get creative with these. Sneaker News was invited to try our hand at a Mavrk Mid 2 design and here’s what we whipped up – a rugged, mostly suede look with some “Moonscape” graphics on the denim side panel for a little extra style punch. If you like what you see, get over to Nike iD and see what you can come up with.

Air Jordan V (5) Shawn Marion Phoenix Suns Home PE

Shawn Marion aka ‘The Matrix’ surprised a number NBA experts and fans with his above-the-rim style of play and high-flying acrobatics, although over the last two seasons, Marion went from Championship piece to valuable trade bait. Nearly a year ago we showed a small collection of the Air Jordan V (5) Retro Shawn Marion PE in the Home and Away colourway; using white and black as the base for Home and Away, both pairs were adorned with desert basketball purple and orange. Check out this close-up detailed look at the Home version of the Shawn Marion Vs. Say what you will about the orange and purple, but the Air Jordan V is such a great shoe that it’ll make any colourway look great. via Kenlu.

adidas Originals OT Tech Pack Spring/Summer 2010 Footwear + Apparel

Tokyo stands as one of the meccas of sneaker culture. In fact, it is far ahead of the U.S. in terms of footwear awareness being a widespread among all ages and classes. Tokyo can be considered as one of the original sneaker-infatuated cities, which makes this adidas Originals OT Tech Pack a worthy tribute to the city. The OT or Originals Tokyo pack features three great Originals and a set of apparel that feature sharp colourways and edgy designs. The Nizza Low, Forum Mid, and Superstar all feature a black-upper white-lower blueprint with hints of blue and a razor-sharp zig-zag design, implemented differently in each pair. The apparel also implements this saw-toothing in zippers, graphics, and even the collars. Continue reading to check out the collection of kicks and apparel.  via provider.
