Here’s an Air Jordan XIII PE that’ll have you shouting “C’est magnifique!”. One might postulate that Mickael Pietrus, once dubbed as the ‘French Jordan’, would have a PE with French Blue as part of this colorway, but unfortunately that otherwise aptly named color is just a shade off from what we see here. Navy Blue and White has been done (to utter perfection) with other Air Jordans like the Midnight Air Jordan VI so this Pietrus PE should serve as a huge hint to Jordan Brand to release this colorway to the public. These were, however, produced in 2004, so Pietrus likely wore this pair during his Warrior days. For you hardcore Air Jordan PE collectors out there, grab this pair from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

Another closer look into what’s to come for this year’s holiday season, we look at a pair which most of you would mistake right off the bat with a certain Blazer-like-Jordan. But in fact, this silhouette is what the PHLY’s were obviously based off of. It would also be a mistake to say that these are simply an anticipated release of a design that came years before the PHLY, when in fact, these are technically retros.
Until the AJ VII, the Jumpman only existed on tongues, so the Nike Air Jordan Sky High was created back in the late 1980′s as an experiment to see how the Jumpman logo would look on the upper. Originally created in canvas, it also saw some leather designs, but the model itself never really saw a long life. Becoming a very rare pair to own, a pair or two popped up on eBay a few years ago, but other than that, only a select few sneaker OGs have ever had the pleasure of seeing an original pair in person. But soon these will be officially revived by JB like it’s fellow canvas cousin, the AJKO. Here you’ll see it will be released in a similar white canvas upper, as well as a black colorway, however we also expect that it will also drop in leather versions, maybe even sooner than these holiday gems. Stay tuned for further info.

During the “A Night with Jordan featuring Jason Mayden” in Atlanta the other night, a rare Air Jordan hybrid sample was brought to the spotlight that had the buzzing crowd stopped in its tracked. Just six were produced but only one remains in existence; the lone pair was auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Haiti Relief Fund, and we now have some detailed images of the now 1-of-1 hybrid that features the Air Jordan X upper with the revolutionary IPS midsole of the XX. A closer look reveals a similar tongue tag taken from the Air Jordan IX and an Air Force 1 label behind the tongue. Continue reading for a detailed look at this sample that might be locked in the Jordan Brand vault for eternity. Thanks to Joerdan23 of NT.

After shedding the great Air Jordan XII PE, Ray Allen’s been showcasing a ton of Team Jordan designs over the last few months, like the Air Jordan Icons and Jordan Hallowed Ground. In tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jesus Shuttlesworth will take the Retro route once again as he will wear a great PE of the Air Jordan VIII in a white, green, and grey colorway. A seemingly off-topic choice of shoe – considering the Air Jordan VIII released quite a while ago – but still awesome nonetheless. Check back with Sneaker News tomorrow and we’ll give you an in-game look. via Ray’s Twitter.

The Nike Air Max 95 returned in 2009 in a number of original colorways featuring the popular grey-to-white fading scheme paired with some great secondary colors both original and all new. This new colorway features a similar motif but features two “muscle fibers” (remember the 95 was inspired partly by the human muscle tissue) of the same color. The mix of cool mint and a nice shade of blue (much like the Slate 95s) take up the lacehoops, Air Max tongue logo, and rear swoosh, with a minty-fresh air unit. It’s a slightly darker shade of green than the other Mint Air Max 95 that dropped in oh-nine but like the famous brand of gum, ‘double your pleasure, double your fun!’. These are available now over at Size?.
