The one that now commands a resale value that may very well be a mortgage payment? Parra’s touch of alchemy turns any Nike into pure gold, and the upcoming Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 is sure to follow suit. Releasing two days short of the ides of March, the once Friends-and-Family-Only pair has been raising levels of sneakerhead anxiety due to its probable super-limited release.
Check out these detailed images of the Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1; the color combo you see is almost a repeat of the Dutchman’s last Air Max 1, with the carpeted inner swoosh, Parra tongue-tag, and other trim carrying blue with the upper featuring a rich burgundy. The use of color in the jigsaw-esque bottom sole of the Air Max 1 is strikingly similar to Parra’s artwork.
