News of the Air Jordan VI (6) Retro Lakers was music to ears of Kobe fans (remember when Kobe wore Air Jordan PEs?). Our coverage of this upcoming pair included tons of detailed images, but these latest shots of the Air Jordan VI reveal two glaring differences. Firstly, the bottom sole is white, opposed to the black shown in previous production samples, and the lace-lock has undergone a similar transfer of color, going from black/purple to white/purple. Secondly, the 3M material on the upper has been removed in favor of an all-suede upper. So which will be the final production release? We’re leaning toward this one, considering the resource is very legitimate. You might have to pick and choose which Retro 6 to cop, because the Oreo VI and Pistons VI are upcoming as well. The official release date of the Air Jordan VI (6) Lakers is May 15th, so keep your calendars marked. In the meantime, let us know which colourway you like better; white-soled or black-soled? via FLUL.

i liked the darker sole from earlier pics better. gave the shoe a real stealth look. oreo’s over these for me.

The previous version with the 3M is better than this one. But Oreos 1st, then Pistons, then the 3M version.

ALSO CALM DOWN EVERYONE THIS IS NOT THE RELEASE VERSION THESE ARE SAMPLES. Marquee HAS already been selling 3M LAKER 6′S for a long while. Fools Locker UL has pics of some “School Daze” Black/Grey AJ1 SAMPLES. Released version does not have black “Wings” logo. If you are afraid these will drop, go cop the 3M from Marquee for 330.

Really the only big dif. is the 3M. I like the white bottoms and the white lace lock. But JB should def. stay with the 3M. Also stay with AIR being in the 3 dif. colored stitching wich makes the whole shoe.

In my opinion these are doper than the original. In person ik these’ll be dope. Idt 3M should ever be on a VI. They’re already bulky enough as it is. I’ll cop and I’m positive 75% of people on here will be in line for em too.
