Last month Sneaker News showed you images of the Air Jordan V (5) made just for Shawn Marion during his tenure with the Phoenix Suns. Turns out Ray Allen who is better known as a Jordan frontman also received a Air Jordan V (5) PE during his time with the Oklahoma Seattle Super Sonics. The upper is a dark hunter green, while the outside, lining, and ‘sharks teeth’ are a vibrant yellow. Although this colorway is now defunct, the Air Jordan V (5) will always live on! Check the detailed images and let us know which PE – Allen’s or Marion’s – is better. via kenlu.

I saw him play in these while in Seattle in 2006…and please do not confuse the Sonics with the Thunder. Two different franchises. The Sonics history stayed in Seattle! No banners in Oklahoma. -R.I.P Sonics!

and what’s up with the “oklahoma seattle super sonics”? these were made for ray allen playing for the seattle super sonics before they even moved to OKC and became the thunder. you can’t combine the two.
