Continuing on from last-year’s Gore-Tex gradient experiment, New Balance is set to release another MTG580 laden with the uber-durable material in a colorway inspired by an MA-1 flight jacket. The dark olive green upper and bright orange inner lining features an interchangeable velcro NB logo on the side, with ripstop nylon and the Gore-Tex mentioned before. These are set to drop in July 2010, so grab your aviators and be prepared for lift-off. via streething.

Nice use of colors and materials and can’t hate on GoreTex, but this whole velcro logo thing is pretty lame and the fact that the MTG580 has never been very comfortable for being a running shoe.
