Jeremy Scott has built as much of a reputation in the sneaker world over these last few months as he has in clothing. While the fashion world is filled with flamboyant over-the-top looks that are the cloth equivalent of concept cars, J.Scott has managed to push his insane designs to huge retail success.
Even the all-black boots he has upcoming for F/W 2010 are totally unique, thanks to an ornate design embroidered on the tongue. It’s somewhere between the frills on a matador’s jacket and a Christmas ornament, and that should give you an idea of how crazy the rest of this collection is. Take a look at more teaser shots from the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2010 collection after the jump. via FRESHNESS

If you thought Jaspers was a stupid gay shoe these looks even dumber. I sometimes feel for Adidas being so out of the shoe game and not being much competition with Nike but if they’re giving somebody a million or more to make shit like this they deserve to be where they are.

y'all are bitter people. if you don't like jeremy scott for adidas that's fine, but you don't have to be an ass about it. he's gay, so what! yeah the clothes are flamboyant but they flipping sell out in seconds and jeremy scott and adidas could care less what the hell you think. to each his own, i personally love seeing people dressed up all crazy and tacky, more power to them for having the nerve to wwear it, makes the world a bit brighter.

When people push the boundaries of acceptability, and explore new and inventive ideas… It challenges onlookers and makes them ask why? But why isn't the question they should be asking… It should be "how many more in the world will emulate" the second is "why didn't i think of that before" It designers with charisma like Scott who more the fashion industry forward and bring new ideas and designs to the forum. Then the whole world and his dog will follow in one very small way or another. This is the way of the world. Why is it that car designers introduce concept cars???? For the same reasons… forward progression. So for people who can't look ouside the box.. open your eyes… Your missing snap shots of the future!
