It’s only a matter of time before warm weather is the norm and the grills come out. Last summer saw two Nike Dunk Highs that were covered in gingham checks, but this new pair goes a different route. They’re certainly less tablecloth-y with a black denim overlay that looks an awful lot like the Born in the USA Dunk High SB that was revealed today. You don’t have to wait till July 4th to celebrate; these just hit Nike Sportswear retailers like Finish Line.

Why do Nike make dunks withe most random of designs and materials for the mid and back panel?

I think to use such denim material is smart. Not many factory use them. So I guess Nike will mostly get the market for such shoes.
