Is this upcoming Nike SB Dunk under the Witness Protection Program? First off, the “Chirping Bird” name has been changed; this upcoming Quickstrike has been renamed to Larry Perkins, the name of the skater that inspired the colorway. Secondly, the Larry Perkins Nike SB Dunk underwent a transplant as the Chirping Bird mechanism as been replaced by one that makes telephone ringing sounds, as Larry Perkins was known to be dialing up other skate-pros and magazines. The overall design, colorway, and material use remains, but the identity has seen a vast alteration. These are expected to drop on March 20th at select Nike SB retailers, so have your local Nike SB spot on speed dial and lock down your pair. via Martini.

the idea’s and collabs the SB camp comes up with are really getting weaker and weaker….plus how many times are we expected to get excited for a dunk…I’ve got tons of them already….pass

i guess i’m the only one feeling these. glad they don’t chirp. but black denim over white/red? beautiful color blocking and material use here! stop hating!

got mines wednesday!!! i was upset by the change of the chirping sound that was sexy but besides that the whole concept behind the shoe is nice excellent material superrrrrrrr comfy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the furr keeps my ankles warm i love it ill give this show a 9.5 out of 10 just because the only thing wrong on this shoe is if the battery life dies on the tongue for the ring shit will suck!!!!!!!! try not to put these on by holding the tongue avoid pressing that button…. hotttt shoeee!! but in the show i got them from i got beat in my ass 200 flat just because the store got a limited amount of sizes and mind you this place is a skate boarding shop for over 10 years when some people got them for 98 or 120 what ever it is in other places.

In germany they dropped in early february. without the chirping though, thanks to stupid eu laws.

The shoes is AWESOME….I bought the shoe for is materials not for sound….so for the lames who wanna talk about the shoes bcuz of no “chirp” I THINK THEY’RE THE REAL BIRDS…and $200 is over price I payed $120 only a 22 dollar lost for me….
