Especially from readers old enough to remember the originals they’re based on, the first few Nike Air Max A Lot colorways met with mixed reviews. The newest Pippen-based mashup is probably the nicest one we’ve seen, going the simple white and metallic silver route. With the two-tone palette, this shoe’s busy sweeping lines are considerably easier on the eyes, and the medial side panels are quite sleek. Proof positive that a colorway can make or break a sneaker, these should be out soon, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Taobao

I actually like this shoe. This white one is clean looking and the black and red is a great bulls colorway. I think the tongue ruins the shoe though. The tongue should just have had a swoosh or pippens emblem on it.

Naw, I see where they were going with it but totally went overboard with the design. Hybrids are not the answer to everything! Some of the Jordans are coo like the Dub Zero and the 6 rings and the 1/2 cents are coo but these are just too much. I’ll stick with my golden oldies (retros)…
