Nike’s current hybrid crusade has led to both accolades and criticism, the latter consisting of claims of unoriginality and incompatibility. However, the Air Max experiments have proved to be more successful than the basketball-turned-lifestyle shoes, and this sample of a possible upcoming hybrid if the Nike Air 180 only continues that positive trend. Check out the Nike Lunar Air 180 TZ which features an identical silhouette and Ultramarine colorway of the classic Nike Air 180 implemented with a Lunar midsole, no-sew upper, and breathable upper layer. Using Lunar instead of the Free-sole seems like the obvious next-step, although one might have expected use of Flywire on the upper.
