SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE
First there was the Dub Zero celebrating MJ’s past and future of the Air Jordan franchise. Then came the Spiz’ike recalling the success of Nike’s campaigns featuring Spike Lee as Mars Blackmon. Last year, the Sixty Plus debuted to commemorate Michael’s feats on the court whenever he scored 60+ points in a single game. It was only a matter of time that JB would follow through with another hybrid of popular Jordan models. Sneaker News gives you an exclusive look at a new upcoming model, Rare Air, which apparently brings together elements from the AJ 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Nothing else can be confirmed as of yet other than this is anticipated for this year’s already stacked roster for the holiday season. Stay tuned.

Love the colorway but that’s about it. I think they should stop doing these hybrids or whatever you want to call them. If you have to do more hybrids then go back to the dubO or spizikes. The quality of JB has dropped so bad in the last few years so please give us a break. Now the holiday retro line, with especially the retro 7, is what JB needs to stick to.

Thes arent very good by any means, but come on half the the ppl that wear jb are one of two things. Hypebeasts or a retrobeast. That is probably not true, but Jordan is a brand not one paticular line of shoe(anymore). just atleast the shoe….

Like I tell my boys..jb ppl must see clowns in the streets with fake fusions on and say to themselves “those look like a good idea..” and then turnaround and make some..just wait there are more fusion 4′s coming out and fusion x’s. I like how they tried to use the 3m to make it hot, even hotter garbage. Don’t do fusions, dub-0′s, spizikes, 60+ or any other. You’ll only catch me with the kicks Mike actually wore, despite new colorways & maybe a few exceptions. But these ain’t it.

AT LEAST, with some of the other “fusion”-type designs, they kept the elements pretty darn close to original. This feels like they were trying WAAAY too hard to force the components to fit together into one shoe when they just don’t.
