With an improbable win over the aging San Antonio Spurs, the New Jersey Nets removed themselves from a tie as the worst NBA team ever. 10 wins isn’t exactly a successful campaign, but the soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets have a bright spot in the improving play of seven-foot Chinese-born power forward Yi Jianlian. Yi has put up career best numbers in both points and rebounding next year, and you gotta wonder if his collection of player exclusives from Nike Basketball has helped at all. Here’s Yi’s Nike Hyperize PE, which aside from the ‘Yi’ scorpion logo, looks an awful lot like a UConn shoe. Neither had a winning season but both have excellent kicks, and you can see more of Yi’s Hyperizes after the jump.
