Air Jordan Take Flight White Varsity Red Black | October 2010

Plenty of Jordan Brand’s recent releases have looked an awful lot like their earlier releases, even the non-retros.  With hybridization and modular design all the rage, it’s only natural to see things you remember from previous Jays, but we can honestly say that there has *never* been a Jordan like this before.

The Air Jordan Take Flight is the first Jordan basketball shoe with visible Max Air cushioning from heel to toe.  The midsole also features blood red supports that spell ‘JORDAN’, but the nylon lace loops a la Air Jordan XI speak just as much to this shoe’s heritage.  Take a look at more photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more exclusives on upcoming Air Jordan releases.

  8. bigpmpn57 Says:

These are nice but the are lacking the eye catching design. As far as the other future Jordan shoes go it looks promising. Even the Melo M7 are going to have Max Air in the heel.

  9. bigpmpn57 Says:

I don’t understand why the put a cage on the air bubble

  10. RETRO5S Says:

hahaha LBJVII-AJXI fusion…to me these look like X, XI, and nike huarache fusions. i guess the V shaped thing could be LBJVIIs too. but the stripes on the midsole remind me of AJXs. either way these suck.

  11. wsjones1981 Says:

I like the sole, but Jordan Brand needs more originality with their overall sneaker designs; HOWEVER, as long as people keep buying this stuff, Jordan Brand is going to continue releasing this stuff…..SAD

  12. N i r v a n a Says:

  33. retro87x Says:

Jb fallin off bigtyme jus keep the retros commin

  34. Dr Constantin Says:

You guys just won’t take the numbered retros c0*k out ya mouth. The shoe is aight @ max. But I definitley isint a bad shoe. We have seen some bad ones. Even the flight 9 isint that bad. U ppl put so much into jordan brand because of the numbers. But think. If EVERY thing they put out was an instant cop how much “fun” will that be for the sneaker head? Or better yet the inner city youth that would bust they parents ass or stand on that corner all night to get.
Some things HAVE to be bad. Hence the classic 91 or that flight 45 high and some things have to be awesome hence numbered retros. This falls in the middle. Its science ppl. How do u think jordan brand keeps the balance? Same way all other companies do it.

  35. JJ Says:

Now they’re starting to copy Payless Shaq shoes??
C’mon JB. Now I think all they want is money.

  36. IISHOEZ BELUSHI Says:

    I FUCKS WIT’EM
    THE THE WHITE YELLOW AND
GREY’S SEEM LIKE THEY’LL BE INTERESTING
I WANNA SEE HOW THEY’D LOOK IN BLACK GREY AND
RED ALTHOUGH THESE WOULD LOOK GOOD WIT SOME BLACK
LACES AND THEY COME OUT AROUND MY BIRTHDAY
    DEFINITE COP!

  37. $#!T$ BEAT Says:

    FUCK THESE!

  38. Dez T Says:

Dey Kinda Plain…But They Seem dey would be good for hoopin…Idk if imma cop

  39. TR3 WATS Says:
