It seems that New York Knicks’ home games is arguably the best place the spot various celebrities with the hottest kicks, after showcasing what Spike Lee had to wear to two consecutive games at the Garden, New York Jets Pro Bowl cornerback, Darrelle Revis, was spotted sitting courtside with a friend wearing a pair of the recently released Air Jordan Spiz’ike’s in White and Fire Red that were a part of the “Fresh Since ’85″ Spring 2010 Spiz’ike Collection. Revis’ friend also had on a pair of the Air Jordan IV Fusion’s in White and Varsity Red. Also in attendance was NBA Hall of Famer, Magic Johnson, who sat a few seats down from Revis.

Earlier today we dropped some hints at an Air Jordan XI inspired Nike Air Max LeBron VII that was presumed to be part of the Heroes Pack which included colorways inspired by Penny Hardaway and Deion Sanders. Check out these new images of the Bred XI x LeBron VII, and you can see there’s no doubt that this colorway and design is inspired by one of the most iconic sneakers in history; from the obvious black patent leather and strip on the tongue down to the rounded laces and NFW weaved upper that may remind you of the carbon fiber arch support, it’s certain that 23 was inspired by 23. Despite their status as baseball royalty, few would associate purple with the New York Yankees. Then again, you probably never thought you’d see an orange (that’s right, the fruit) look as bad-ass as Futura’s work on the Syracuse x Nike Sportswear capsule that released a few short weeks prior. This time, the living legend turned his perforated spotlight on the evil empire for another new Futura x Nike Air Force 1 Low. While the Bombers are unlikely to change their iconic pinstripes to purple, just remember that it looks great with navy blue, and these kicks are available from JBseller on eBay.

Nike SB still dominates the skate scene, but adidas Skateboarding has designs on that top spot. They’re following the familiar formula of vulc soles and/or brand heritage models, which means these three new pairs are a good ride, whether you intend to chew up the ollie area or just rock ‘em as streetwear. The adidas Campus appears in two vulcanized editions, a black midtop for Tim O’Connor, plus a lowtop in Carolina blue. Last but not least, the Ciero lowtop in the classic adidas combo of white-on-black with gold lettering. Grab any or all of these today from Three Stripes Skate retailers like HUF.

This Saturday, the Foot Locker House of Hoops will release two more Player Exclusives for basketball fans to get their hands on. The first pair is a fiery colorway of the Air Jordan Icons that was worn by Mike Bibby, featuring an ATL Hawks all-red upper with white trim. The second pair pays homage to original roots, as the Nike KD2 is featured in a Texas white pebbled texture and burnt orange patent. Also, a new Foot Locker House of Hoops location has opened up in Wayne, NJ at the Willowbrook Mall, bringing the total number of HOH spots to nine. Both the release of the Icons and KD2 and the opening of the new location is set for this Saturday, so be sure to check out the kicks and new store set-up if you’re in the area. via FLUL.

After nearly two months sitting on the sidelines, Chris Paul got back in the mix on Monday. But the NBA proves to be relentless, as in just his second game back from injury, Chris Paul and his Hornets faced off against the league-best Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James. CP3 took it upon himself to guard LeBron man-to-man at times, but unfortunately LeBron and his Cavs wound up victorious in the end. But we’re interested in the match-up of shoes; check out images of LeBron and CP3 together during last night’s game and tell us which signature shoe – the Nike Air Max LeBron VII in the Navy/Gold or the Mardi Gras Air Jordan CP3.III – is better. Something tells us this debate will end with similar results as the actual game. via Yahoo!

We’ve known about the Nike Air Carnivore Retro for over six months now, but every preview thus far has depicted the Grape-y joints. This ‘other’ colorway might have you thinking of the upcoming Air Diamond Turf Retros, given their 49ers-esque palette and the wide instep strap. But the Carnivore is like none other thanks to its ankle shroud, which curiously looks an awful lot like Kobe Bryant’s logo, but was designed a dozen years earlier. These aren’t attached to a particular athlete, but they’ll likely show up on tons of sneakerhead feet when they touch down in Summer 2010. via Kinstor

If it wasn’t clear to you after last year’s instant classic 1World Nike Air Force 1, Hong Kong’s CLOT is serious about their sneaker collab game. Not only do they have a hot adidas Superstar on the way courtesy of Kazuki’s sprawling capsule for Three Stripes, but here’s a new CLOT x Converse Jack Purcell (RED) that has apparently been in the works for over two years now. The high-top features a leather upper utilizing an intelligent mix of black, white, beige, with the appropriate amount of red. It also features various forms of branding, as you can see the CLOT logo on the heel and a CLOT x Converse Red tag branded on the tongue and stitched onto the insole. The upcoming Nike SB Dunk High Premium ‘Skunk’ was unveiled yesterday and is already one of the most talked-about sneakers of this entire year. Its inspiration makes you wanna giggle, and not just because it’s ironic to see the Swoosh push the envelope in this direction. Turns out that one of our particularly astute readers was on the right track when he commented “Bratrud does it again.” That’s cos today, with these new images, it’s been revealed that this is the latest design from longtime SB collaborator Todd Bratrud. Take a look at some closeups after the jump that detail the various shades of green suede you’ll be getting when these drop in April, presumably right around the 20th. via ST

The similarity between the patent leather mudguards on the Nike Air Max LeBron VII and Air Jordan XI has been obvious from the start. With LeBron’s postseason sneakers eschewing the Max Air visible unit in favor of a embedded cushion and adding a carbon fiber arch support furthers the similarities, but nobody would have expected this. Here’s an AML7 that’s seen its sole swapped out for one with AJ11-like colored sections, and while it lacks the carbon fiber plate, these add big round laces and a tongue loop that are unmistakably ‘Eleven’. Whether these are possibly a part of the Heroes Pack or if they’ll even hit retail remains unclear, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. Via NT
