The New Balance 580 is a design with just the right amount of details to be perfectly balanced. This makes it a favorite for collaborations and/or themed designs, and while this one isn’t an official team-up, it’s stunning all the same. The latest NB 580 rocks a combination of greys/silvers and white, plus a few choice hits of neon green and yellow. New Balance is no stranger to gradients, even on the 580s, but this one is done particularly well, with solid colorblocking on the medial midsole to balance everything out and a reflective ‘croc’ section to keep things interesting. No word yet on a stateside release, but stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Kenlu

Unless you can get your hands on the Easter Egg Pack from 2006, there’s little chance you’ll find a shoe springier than this new Nike Air 180. These new 180 runners are done in the unbeatable suede and mesh combo, and the addition of neon-ish green and black accents to an otherwise white base is equally untouchable. Take a look at more angles after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on a stateside release. via TrustNobody

Never one to stay a particular footwear course for too long, LeBron James will go with an entirely new shoe for the 2010 NBA Playoffs. Bron used to rock Nike Zoom LeBron Soldiers (starting the year after the 20.5.5 drop during his first playoff run), and even though we saw several candidates for the ZLSIV, *and* it’s still dropping at retail, it looks like LeBron won’t rock the Soldiers this postseason.
Instead, here’s the aptly named Nike LeBron VII P.S. (PostSeason). It looks pretty similar to the Air Max LeBron VII, save it’s non-Max Air sole, a bigger tongue, and a Zoom LeBron VI-like heel pull. Some have said it looks like the Air Jordan XI thanks to its patent leather mudguard, and when you see the carbon fiber arch support, this likely won’t change. But this is no retro, and you can expect them to hit Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker just before the march to the Finals begins, on April 17th, 2010.

Skaters tend to be a little ‘wilder’ than your average crowd, but who knew they were into nature? Or Nike SB, for that matter, who would have expected the Swoosh to go this route for their next Dunk High SB? The Nike SB Dunk High ‘Skunk’ is a bit of a throwback with its tonal green color scheme and rough suede upper, but it’s the dizzy little skunk on the insoles and stash pocket on the inner tongue that scream ‘Dope!’ It’s been rumored that these may be an upcoming Quickstrike, but it still remains to be seen whether they’re changed, joined by another pair featuring a lemon driving a tractor trailer, or not released at all. Randy Moss’ name will come up in any discussion of the top NFL wideouts of all time, but what about sneakers? Moss had more Jordan Brand signatures than Super Bowl rings, and here’s the one that broke the tie, the Jordan Super Freak. The Super Freak is back to dispel rumors that it was to be renamed the ‘Cover 3′, and looks almost identical to the late 90s original, save the old ‘EIGHTY4′ tongue tag (‘TWENTY3′ instead). That one detail aside, this is a solid retro, and is available now from Eastbay.

The recent release of a rainbow-colored Air Jordan VI caused quite a stir, but will similar laces be enough to rouse sneakerheads’ attention for this other classic basketball model? This newest Nike Dunk High GS is clearly skewed to the grade school girls, with a glossy pink patent leather upper and touches of white and grey to balance things out. But it’s the rainbow laces that make this pair, and make you want to grab your own. Be on the look out at your local Nike Sportswear retailers, cos these just hit Japan’s Limited Edt.

LeBron James will not hit free agency this summer, after all! Well, at least when it comes to sneakers. According to Cleveland.com, King James has decided to stay with Beaverton no matter where he plays the 2010-11 NBA season. Another thing that’s going to happen next year: LeBron will switch to #6 in tribute to his hero Michael Jordan, who of course, made 23 *the* jersey to get as a young baller. Stick with Sneaker News for updates on all of Bron-Bron’s kicks, including the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8).

Spike Lee might’ve thought that wearing Blue and Orange Knicks’ colored kicks would bring some luck to the lowly New York Knicks when they hosted the Houston Rockets on Sunday afternoon because wearing White and Grape colored Air Jordan Spiz’ikes didn’t help the game before. Spike and his son, Jackson Lee, were spotted courtside on Sunday rooting for the hometown Knicks where Spike was seen rocking a pair of Nike iD Zoom Kobe IV’s colored up in Blue, Orange, and White. Also in attendance on Sunday was New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, who sported a Nike Sportswear t-shirt in Black and Neon Green with a pair of matching Nike Dunk Low’s in Black and Green.

Last week, we brought you some updated Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 release info, and now we get a look at one of the more interesting non-Retro releases that’s on deck for later this year. The Air Jordan Winterized Spiz’ike Boot is a hybrid of a hybrid, combining the Spiz’ike with a winter-ready sole. This upcoming Holiday 2010 colorway of the Spiz’ike Boot features a black nubuck upper and some bright Challenge Red accents on the midsole, wing, and lace eyelet. You can expect these to drop for the upcoming Holiday 2010 season, although changes can be made to the final product. Keep reading for a closer look after the jump.
