Spring fashion is all about the two-in-one; the rain jacket that can be converted into a vest, the drawstring pant that can be cuffed into a pair of capri shorts, or even the high-top sneaker that can be rolled down into casual walking shoes. Check out this new colorway of the Reebok Top Down in yellow and light blue; the light tones complement Spring-time pastels and the graphic seen on the ankle when left upright adds a fancy touch to these women’s kicks. You can expect these at select Reebok retailers soon. via Tenisufki.

Because the market has demanded it, we’re seeing more and more girls shoes that a dude might want to go out and buy. The days of pink-and-shrink ruling the ladies sneaker scene are so gone-by that we’ve moved to a time when a women’s label can collaborate on a guy’s shoe! Probably a global first, the X-girl x atmos x New Balance M850 XAP comes in a red, teal and purple colorway that anyone would love. atmos will start pre-selling them on April Fool’s Day, so break out the Japanese Rosetta Stone pack and start networking!

Despite what you may have seen, Vespas move very fast. We just saw the previews for the S/S ’10 adidas Originals Vespa footwear collection earlier today, and one has already hit retail. The adidas Vespa S is done in the immortal blue-on-white with one red stripe motif, but all three stripes on the heel tabs are royal. Scoot on over to Schuh-You and grab a pair today.

Vespa has the kind of brand recognition in the scooter world that Band-Aid has with adhesive bandages. Put simply, Vespa is the clear cut industry leader. Not so clear cut for adidas, but we can say with full confidence that the adidas Originals Vespa Footwear Collection contains the two hottest scooter shoes ever! It might sound kinda funny, but take a look at the new Vespa PX and S models that join the original Vespa Casual shoe for Spring/Summer 2010. Each of them manages to capture the brand’s feel without resorting to overly obvious references. Check out more images after the jump and then cop them from Shopadidas.com

The new Nike Aina Chukka is the natural progression from the Zoom Toki Mid, itself a child born of Blazers and Sabakus. Aina is the next step, with minimal branding and a look that exemplifies the lifestyle sneaker movement. The pair pictured above is quite the solid debut, its putty grey suede upper providing the perfect neutral punctuation for your best fits. Nike Sportswear retailers across the country are getting these in stock, and if you happen to be in NYC, grab yours from 21 Mercer.

Plenty of Jordan Brand’s recent releases have looked an awful lot like their earlier releases, even the non-retros. With hybridization and modular design all the rage, it’s only natural to see things you remember from previous Jays, but we can honestly say that there has *never* been a Jordan like this before.
The Air Jordan Take Flight is the first Jordan basketball shoe with visible Max Air cushioning from heel to toe. The midsole also features blood red supports that spell ‘JORDAN’, but the nylon lace loops a la Air Jordan XI speak just as much to this shoe’s heritage. Take a look at more photos after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more exclusives on upcoming Air Jordan releases.

In Round 1 of the SN March Madness Sneaker Tournament, the Air Force 1 region was home to the field’s biggest upset, with the new jack Kaws 1World taking out the legendary Linens. Round 2 poses some interesting matchups of its own with the classic White on Whites taking on the top-seeded Stash AF1 and the Playstations doing battle with those feisty Kaws kicks. We’ll have to wait and see if the Sweet Sixteen round can produce any more upsets, so go ahead and place your votes for the AF1 bracket now. And don’t forget to check back the next two nights at 8pm EST to vote for the remaining brackets.

We know the immortal Infrared Nike Air Max 90 is going to see a retro release this summer, but before they drop, some Foot Lockers across the pond have a couple hot new pairs of their own. Most notably, this collaboration with Chelsea LW Flourent Malouda. The 29-year old left winger stuck with the familiar blue and white for a base that adds some bright red and grey to make sure they’re not just a straight kit-to-kicks release. Even though MLS is set to kick off its 15th season tomorrow and American interest in soccer is at an all-time high with the World Cup is but a few short months away, there’s very little chance these will ever hit stateside retailers. Stick with Sneaker News for updates, cos there’s a ton more soccer-inspired shoes where that came from as we head toward South Africa 2010.

Onward marches adidas’ ‘Blue’ shoes that are anything but. The entire adidas Originals A.039 is centered around classic Three Stripes models in simple colorways, and usually, some of the aforementioned shade of royal hidden somewhere out of plain sight. In this case. the adidas Originals Campus ’80s Blue is done in black or green canvas with white leather Stripes and outsoles. Yet another can’t-miss, this subtly styled classic is available in green or black today from Schuh-You.

The Air Jordan Bin 23 Collection will feature some of the classic AJ sneakers in supremely well-crafted and highly limited releases. While all Bin 23 releases will carry a wax seal and individual numbering, it remains to be seen what will inspire each pair. With the Air Jordan II Retro Primio, all one needs do is look at the shoe, its Spanish-infused name and MJ’s life to realize they’re celebrating Cuban cigars. Mike is known to be something of an afficionado, and equally astute sneakerheads will plan carefully to arrange to cop these when they drop on April 10th. Only a few select retailers will have these, so Sneaker News will keep you updated. via Jumpman23
