When news surfaced of the July 2010 Infrared Nike Air Max 90 Retro release, we were wondering how many signature colorways from Nike’s running catalog could be on the way. The Neon Air Max 95 and Silver Bullet AM97s just hit, so would the Swoosh bring the AM1 OG Retro back again after just one year? That remains to be seen, but what’s clear is that the OG Nike Air Mariah is back. This retro is perfect, maintaining the original’s ultramarine and infrared explosion. Find them now at Nike Sportswear retailers like Premier Skateboarding.

If you’ve been keeping up with NBA play or happened to catch our NBA Feet: Nike Zoom Kobe V Exhibit, you’d know that the Zoom Kobe V has become a popular choice for slashing point-guards and 3pt-shooting centers. But why hasn’t the Nike Air Max LeBron VII been seen around? We managed to collect a few images of some NBA players wearing the LeBron VII, but the variety of colorways isn’t nearly as vast and eclectic as the Kobe V. In fact, the Phantom LeBron VII is the most common pair we’ve seen, with the exception of a few others. The most notable? Jonny Flynn’s LeBron VII More Than A Game that he showcased in mid-February. Check out the images after the jump, and maybe we’ll see more LeBron VIIs as we near the end of the season. via Yahoo!.

While the Chicago-style colorway has a dope icey outsole, Sneaker News comments show that our readers aren’t sure about the Air Jordan Flight 9. It comes to us in familiar palettes with design elements we know and love from other sneakers, but maybe this will finally be the one to win over the purists. It’s a ‘pure’ colorway, anyway, with metallic silver accents adding a little shine to an otherwise white design. Have a look at a bunch of detailed images after the jump and let us know what you think. via Taobao

March Madness is all about college basketball, as is this new pack of Nike Air Max Hyperizes. Just like a pair in blue and black from last week, these have the scissors-n-hoop tongue tag to remind anyone who wears them of the ultimate goal. Several teams could have rocked the aforementioned colorway, including number one seeds Duke and Kentucky.
There’s a new drop in navy, red and white that’s a perfect match for the Cinderella contender St. Mary’s Gaels, one whose black and gold reminds you of Purdue, and some good ol’ white and bred for the Ivy League upstarts at Cornell. Grab one of a huge size run (all the way up to 18s!) from Eastbay.

Gerald Wallace turned a bunch of heads when he wore a PE of the Air Jordan XII done up in a black and orange colorway. This time around, it’s the Air Jordan Icons that received the Bobcats special colorblocking; check out the Air Jordan Icons PE that Gerald Wallace wore over the weekend. It features a black nubuck upper with vibrant orange on the stitching on the upper and on the bottom sole. The Air Jordan Icons has been on the feet of a ton of NBA ballers with GW at the helm, so expect a few more Player Exclusives as the season comes to a close and postseason play begins. via Yahoo!.

For our ongoing Classics Revisited segment, Sneaker News chose the Nike Air Solo Flight ’90, a classic basketball shoe that was one of the original models of the Nike Flight series. The latest addition to the Flight family is the Nike Air Flight Falcon, which looks like a hybrid between three classic Nike shoes – the Nike Air Tech Challenge II, Nike Air Flight ’89, and the Air Jordan IV. What appears to be a great pair of basketball kicks both ready for the court and the street is available now at Finishline.

adidas’ Y-3 division comes through with another batch of releases for the S/S 2010 collection. Following up with already released models like the Hayworth II Mid, other models not only sport new colorways but also new material applications. Take for example the Y-3 Boxing Classic which has variations of leathers and mesh, but also full patent monochrome versions as well. in fact a few of the collection’s releases fit the theme of a bright monochrome all patent look. Other noteworthy models include the Tomotak, which would be a formidable contender to the Nike Air Presto. No matter what style sense, Yohji Yamamoto’s designs create lifestyle sneakers that suit the masses.. All available now at ZOZO.

Syracuse beat Georgetown on January 25th, but the real winner that night was a guy named Gerald from the Bronx. As you can see, G won a raffle for an exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design session with Futura at the artist’s Nike Sportswear for Syracuse premier, and the results are stunning. True to ‘Cuse form, these kicks are orange, blue and black, but that doesn’t tell the full tale. The black sections are done in kevlar, with navy blue on the toebox, eye-placket and heel tab. Toss in the Futura-branded dubraes, Bespoke AF1 shoe trees and an autographed box, and you better be sure to click the jump for more photos, cos you’ll never see another pair of these. via FRESHNESS

The 2010 FIFA World Cup Tournament is months away, but what’s here and now is the Nike Sportswear Six Collection. Sneaker News has already previewed in depth and in detail the variety of kicks and gear of the six different countries. One pair of kicks worth looking forward to is the Nike Dunk High AC, which features the classic Dunk High silhouette and the vulcanized sole, shedding the old-school basketball shoe of its made-for-the-court traction and supplanting it with one ready for casual wear. The Nike Dunk High AC Brazil features a black canvas upper with a white swoosh and midsole and Brazil logo on the tongue, with a green strip circumventing the shoe. These hybrids are available now from JBseller on eBay.

Nike SB has been a whirlwind with the recent release of some quickstrikes, the induction of Omar Salazar into the Nike SB crew, and the news of the SB Dunk tongue fattening up once again. Before the hubbub was the toned-down design of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski. A new colorway of pacific blue and white is set to release as part of the Nike SB April 2010 Collection; it features micro-perforations on the upper and a colorway which serves as a welcome respite to the neutral tones that we’ve seen earlier on the Janoski. You can expect these at your local SB joint come April but are available early at bored. via N-SB.
